I can’t recommend this coffee place for the obvious hygiene issues I see it the front counter. I have been to BS Coffee but I wouldn’t recommend any ‘treats’ in the food display cases-unless you get a wrapped cookie or bar. Have you noticed the years of crumb crud in there? And the fly fest all over the foods. No thanks! As for the coffee– just meh!

Good drinks, good pastries, Awesome décor/vibe. They have a claw-foot bathtub swing, comfy chairs, THREE outdoor seating areas, and a chandelier, what else could you ask for?

I’m addicted to their coffee! Every time I’m in Vernon I make a stop here! The coffee is full bodied and made with love! Will make other coffee shops seem disappointing hehe Also the beanaccino is life changing :)

I have been to a few coffee houses in different places, and the Bean Scene is not just the best in Vernon but the best one I have been to! The brewed coffee is always really good, but I recommend the traditional cappuccino. The food is okay, but not exceptional. The drinks are where it’s at. As good as the coffee is, the best thing about the Bean Scene is the ambience. It is located in a heritage store front on 30th avenue in Vernon(with the original hardwood floor). It has a funky, old-world, artsy feel. It makes you want to curl up with a good book or dream up the next great idea. But it’s a great place to be sociable as well. Go into the Bean Scene on any given day and you will likely be greeted warmly by the owner and staff, and also bump into a «who’s who» of Vernon! The owner has impeccable standards for customer service and really works hard to keep his loyal customers coming back. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!

I’m a big fan of the vibe, décor, and feel of this coffee shop. They have 4 great seating choices: front patio(by the entrance), inside, back-patio(surrounded by walls of climbing vines), and upstairs. The vibe is really artsy and funky. My only complaint: the coffee. The coffee is «OK». If they brought in Intelligentsia I would be their fan forever!

I love this place, and have since it opened over 15 years ago. Now with awesome gluten free treats. The new upper floor is a great place for chatting with friends. The owner is a great guy. Real community hub for the arts too! This is the standard I hold all other coffee shops to.

I’m a huge fan of this place in just one visit. It’s a real community hub with a great patio. I love the vibe. It’s affordable enough, but I don’t recommend any food. I had a soggy samosa and all of the cookies are individually wrapped, which as a plastic abhorrer, I’m not a fan of.

I had a mediocre americano-misto and a «bruchetta bagel» they didn’t offer to heat up. But it has a good vibe and location. Come here if you won’t be paying attention to the coffee. And don’t drop your change at the till!
