Went in for a drink and some appetisers. The floor was filthy, we sat in the corner and there was a terrible smell. The place was almost empty for a Saturday night.
The biggest let down was the $ 14 «cheese board» described as a selection of cheeses with fruit chutney, roasted nuts and rainforest crackers…
What we received was 2 Kraft cheddar cheese slices cut in half, a couple of baby bels, some other cheap bottom of the barrel Thrifty Foods cheese, some pitiful sad looking walnuts and what looked like days old carrot and celery sticks.
Big disappointment! I would never recommend this place.

Wonderful little place! The food is delicious, our waiter was very kind. Definitely want to come back and try some more items, we got the pakoras and lamb burger and they were out of this world! Tasted super fresh.

Boleskine brunch portions are huge. But those with small tummies needn’t fret, they gladly portion half orders where possible

We came on after receiving their coupon in the mail this week, we both had the Eggs Benedict which was delicious with wonderful Hollandaise sauce. Very courteous service, good coffee and a very clean restaurant.
We will be back for brunch and lunch again!

My son had heard good things about this little bistro so we dropped in at lunch time to try it out. We ordered the yam fries as an appetizer and were delighted by the taste and consistency PLUS the sauce was excellent.
My husband ordered the halibut fish and chips which were flavorful and crisp, I ordered the bistro salad which was fresh and generous, and my son had the chicken club sandwich which disappeared without a complaint.
We stopped in on a Thursday at 12:00 and there were only two other tables of customers, but by the time we left almost all the tables were full.
Our waitress was the only server working and was efficient, friendly, and knowledge. The only «slow down» in our service was getting the credit card machine brought to the table.
A place I’ll visit next time I’m in town.
