The personal attention and care the owners give is first rate. It helps that the husband and wife team knit and stitch. Their interest in your project (s) is genuine.
If they don’t have what you want in the store, they’ll order it in.

I was on a mission for a specific pair of knitting needles to complete a project, and stopped into the button and needlework boutique to find them.
Unfortunately, they weren’t available, but I have nothing but kind and wonderful things to say about the woman who helped me out. She offered to make a phone call to see if they could be specially ordered, and after discussing with me what I needed the needles for, was able to recommend a different set that met my needs.
I was so happy with my purchase and managed to finish my project the same day! That makes a satisfied knitter. I also browsed the yarn selection, and although I wasn’t in the market for yarn at the moment, I will definitely be back to peruse more leisurely — I could see some beautiful things!
Good service is why people will support local businesses, rather than turn to the internet for a better deal. This business seems to understand that!
