At Derma Spa it’s all about you! We offer a variety of medical and non-​medical skin care treatments operating under the supervision of Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Harlow Hollis MD, FRCS ©. With a focus on service, quality and expertise, our physician led team treat issues such as sun damage, skin discolouration, acne, fine lines, wrinkles, hair removal and much more.

We specialize in laser treatments, Botox, fillers, cosmetic surgery, glycolic peels, hydrafacials, microdermabrasions, smartlipo, hair removal, as well as esthetics such as massages, manicures and pedicures.

History

Established in 1999.

Since its inception as a laser and medical esthetics centre focusing on skin care, Derma Spa has continued to expand into the full-​service medical esthetics clinic it is today with new treatment options and the latest technology. Derma Spa is the only medical esthetics clinic in Greater Victoria to be led by Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Harlow Hollis. Dr. Hollis has over thirty years of extensive procedure history in the field of plastic surgery, giving him a vast understanding of all facets of cosmetic esthetics. Combined with a very talented staff of twelve that includes licenced estheticians, two registered nurses, trained laser technicians with our lead laser technician also being a Cutera trainer to physicians and laser technicians across Western Canada.

Dr. Harlow Hollis, MD, FRCS (C)

Medical Director at Derma Spa

Victoria Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Harlow Hollis has over thirty years of extensive procedure history in the field of cosmetic surgery, giving him a vast understanding of all facets of cosmetic esthetics. Upon completing an undergraduate degree in math at Acadia University, Dr. Hollis obtained a degree in medicine at Dalhousie University. After practicing as a GP in New Brunswick, he returned to Dalhousie to complete a medical residency in surgery, specializing in plastic and reconstructive disciplines. Following an invitation from two Victoria Plastic Surgeons to join their thriving practice, Dr. Hollis moved with his family to Victoria. In 1999 Dr. Hollis and his wife Jane created Derma Spa, Victoria’s premier Medical Esthetics Spa, where he is Medical Director and consultant, as well as treating physician.
