For a ramen specialty restaurant, this place was terrible. Actually, instant noodles would have tasted better than the noodles in this restaurant. The broth was full of garlic and had no other flavours. The ramen was also bland. My girlfriend and I also got a don, where parts of the rice were uncooked. Both dishes were extremely greasy, and not he good flavorful kind you see in Vancouver. Worst of all, the items were extremely expensive for the quality and portion size. Definitely won’t be going here again.

Huge disappointment! I had the pork ramen. It was so bland and the potstickers were terrible. Had to take the soup home and add spices to it. If you want good soup stick with phở. If you want ramen you’re better off with mr noodles than foo

If you’re a true ramen enthusiast and purist then this will not meet your minimum standards. The broth isn’t good and the noodles lack taste. I’d go somewhere else. We had the chicken ramen, pork ramen, the Gyoza and one of the salads… none of them was anything to rave about.

Not only does the ramen taste strange(as said by another reviewer), but they are so skimpy with their broth that it makes you feel like they care more about profit and one-timers than real customer satisfaction. If you are expecting authentic ramen – you won’t find it here. If you are looking for noodles in a bit of broth with weird ingredients in it that costs more than it should, then I guess you are in luck. I wouldn’t go there again – until I hear they’ve fixed these things.

Neat layout. But too hot in summer. They have fan facing themselves but not the customer. Interesting Ramen but not the traditional noodle type. The pork in the pork ramen has too much fat to my liking. Soup paste was mild in taste. Think it should taste better in winter because of the hot temperature inside, my taste bug is not working.

All around pretty weak. I started with the pot stickers. Basically baby food in a fried wrapper. There was not even a little spring onion for some texture. Unfortunately that was only the start. I had the pork belly ramen. Why fry a delicious piece of pork belly to have a nice crust then put it under the broth? It became soggy and gross. The broth was very one flavour, basically some miso soup with a little toppings… And grease. Couldn’t even find a ounce of soya sauce in the building to step it up. My sister had the chicken ramen. Same story, just tasted like miso soup with lard in it. Definitely not worth the $ 13. Id rather eat Mr noodles.

Been here twice in the last two days. First time I had their Chicken Ramen. The broth was a little one note, but the acutal chicken thigh pieces were melt in your mouth amazing! Mushrooms and the pickled veg were delicious and even though I don’t like egg, I know a perfectly cook one when I see it. Overall pretty damn tasty! Next day I had the Pork Ramen. Broth was beautiful, rich, just salty enough, absolutly divine. Pork belly was crisped up nicely, though not as rendered as I like it. Egg was a tad overcook this time around, and the noodles were just a tad undercooked. I’ve been made into a fan, I’d happily reccomend this place to anyone. I can’t wait to try their steam buns.

Great ramen! Spicy beef, chicken, and green curry all fantastic. Fast service. My kids and wife all loved the food. Filling as well.

Anyone who gave this less than a 5 star rating hasn’t tried the pork belly. I’ve been here about a million times(rounding up a bit) and I can’t get enough. Everything is cooked to perfection, and the toppings are fresh and creative. If you don’t like it here… good. More ramen for me!

Best ramen in town. Try the pork belly ramen, it’s is completely addictive. I apologize in advance if you gain some lbs. due to this review, I can’t stay away from that dish! Also I would highly recommend pairing with a local bottle of Phillip’s blue buck. Perfection.

It was fine… but I felt like the whole point of ramen(noodles in broth) was lost in the large amount of pork(four fat slices) and other accoutrements. The broth wasn’t as rich and flavourful as others, and the noodles were matted together a little, making slurping impossible. The lack of actual soup didn’t help this.

This was the strangest tasting ramen I’ve ever encountered. Nor my husband or I could finish it. Seriously don’t recommend this place.

I found this funky little place while walking downtown with son. They have a nice simple menu and it all looks good, I tried the pork(tonkotsu) ramen. It was delicious. The guy who served us was great and knew the menu well. Over all a great first impression. I’ll be back.
