Our community space is open to people of all ages and all walks of life. All of our services are offered on a sliding scale. You decide what you pay!

History

Established in 2007.

The idea of hemma began with a shared vision: to join our vocations and avocations — Yoga and Acupuncture — together into something that would enrich our community. We dreamed of a peaceful, contemplative and comfortable place for healing, practice and connecting with others, a place that was accessible and welcoming to all. And we wanted to create a place where we love to come to work. Everyday. And we do!

The success of hemma as a community-​oriented business depends upon everyone; our patients, students, teachers, homebodies (hemma volunteers), managers, and the mailman, all of whom make hemma their home in some way. We are grateful to be embraced and supported by our community, and that gratitude is reflected back in the warm welcome everyone receives when they come through the door.
