There is nothing to do here or everything you hoped.
With 200 oceanfront guest rooms and 10,000 sq ft of waterfront meeting space we have got you covered.
Decks give way to gardens. Glass walls invite natural light. Museum-quality art graced hallways, and wide open space gives your room to breathe. Book an inn-room spa or dine al fresco on our oceanfront patio — or yours.
Ready to explore? There’s endless choice from sea to sky. Run the seawall from right out front door or kayak the inner harbour. Take a tour out to whale watch of book a high-flying float plane tour.
And whenever it’s time to rest, your waterfront hotel is a welcome sanctuary. It always feels subtle yet sublime, naturally calming. Inviting you to slow your pace and sleep more soundly.
For pleasure and leisure, for business or weddings, you’ll be exactly where you want to be. Either way, you’ll love it here.
History
Established in 1980.
Positioned near the entrance to Victoria’s Inner Harbour, the pennisula at Laurel Point is a natural welcoming spot. The First Nations people used this very site for potlatch ceremonies hundreds of years ago. Today, we greet visitors to our shores with equal enthusiasm. In fact, you could say hospitality is in our blood.
When civilization arrived, the hospitality burgeoned. Delta Hotels bought the land and built the building in the 1970’s.
Recognizing a gem, the late Paul Arsens purchased the building in 1980 and called it Laurel Point Inn (now called Inn at Laurel Point).
In 1989, Arsens commissed renowned Canadian architect Arthur Erickson to design a second wing for the hotel — hence the name Erickson Wing.
The result was a series of graded silver –blue balconies attached to spacious rooms overlooking the harbour, with a cross between modern and classic interior design.
