This was rated five stars on Unilocal but that’s because only one person rated it. Is it possible to rate zero? The halibut was frozen and greasy and rancid. It was worse than frozen food at the grocery store. Had to throw it away. Don’t go here for fish and chips of any kind.

The fish & chips are good and are priced really well… Can have a little too much batter on them at times. I really liked the Chinese food my first try and probably my second try too. Now I think all of it tastes the same. A lot of the meat options are those thickly breaded deep fried meat pieces with a sweet generic jarred sauce dumped on top… like what you would find at a food court. Just be careful what you order. The staff has been exceptionally nice every visit.

Don’t let the name fool you; every restaurant in Vancouver has fish & chips, no matter what type of a restaurant it is. this is a Chinese restaurant. What do you do when you’re in a town who’s restaurants close around your dinner time, you have no car, & your feet are so sore you can’t walk? Room service or takeout. The menu was quite long. They had things on their menu that I’d never had at a chinese restaurant before. We decided«new stuff only.» we had the BBQ pork fried rice, the honey garlic pork, & crispy ginger fried beef. They delivered in no time, right up to the door of our 8th floor hotel room when almost all the other restaurants were closed. They even game us plates since the hotel room had none. The rice was nice; my mom liked it the most. There was no fat in the pork, which is good. My uncle loved the sweet & hot ginger beef. I hate spicy foods, but I still liked it enough to eat it. It has a nice strong ginger flavor & the beef isn’t too chewy. The honey garlic pork was my favorite; nice texture, no fat, not dry, great flavor.
