Very poor service… the server get pissed when you ask for something. I don’t know why you guys have a restaurant if you are not interested in serving people. Never coming back here

My Unilocal friends who know me know that I do not play around with Indian Food, so my 5-stars should not be taken lightly here. This is good stuff! We ordered Paneer Tikka Masala, Aloo Mutter, Garlic Naan, Mix Raita, and Onion Bhajia and dear your holiness it was all incredible. Perfectly seasoned, perfect portion sizes, perfect textures. Perfect Perfect. I know this is a short review and I’m sorry about that. I’m Elite, I should know better. Just go eat at Masala Bites, okay?

My wife and I were headed to another Indian restaurant via taxi when we asked the driver if he knew of any delicious places. HEDID! Off we went to Masala. We were sat right away and it did not disappoint. Do not pass this up if you are craving some amazing mango beef curry!

Our hotel concierge recommended Masala Bites and we love Indian dishes so gave it a try. Now we highly recommend, it as well. An extensive menu to choose from. We had the butter chicken paneer Tikka Masala and vegetable biryani. All were authentic and excellent. They make good use of all the traditional Indian spices… you can’t go wrong here. They also have a lunch buffet that I imagine would be great.

Go across the street to Da Tandoor. The family is much more friendly and personally involved with the food prep. Masala Bites wouldn’t allow me to sit at the bar; even though I was alone and bar was empty. Serving size not large. Chicken dry. Had to return and edit review to 1 star.

Better than Indian food in the USA& Europe. Fresh, decent prices. VERY popular so don’t EVEN think of walking in with no booking.

Best curry I’m Victoria! I’ve ordered many times only once We had a small mix up with a delivery, they sent out new food right away no questions asked! Really friendly and the food is always so hot and flavourful! Great lunch buffet as well.

So good. The naan is just so fresh and the paneer pakora is mouthwatering.

In my opinion, this is the best Indian lunch buffet in Victoria. What I like is the entrees are more spicy than other buffet restaurants.

We ordered lamb biryani and goat curry as well as garlic naan. All the dishes were amazing and made to order. The service could have been better. Everyone working appeared to be working fast and hard, it just seemed like either they were understaffed or the kitchen was slow. That’s the only reason they don’t get 5 stars. Otherwise it’s definitely a place to go if you have a craving for authentic Indian food and are not in a rush.

The absolute worst service! Horrible experiences on multiple accounts. They continuously get the orders wrong. The waiter is incredible rude and condescending. The food is ok. It is not consistent and way too salty and that is when they can get the order right! Very turned off!

I ate dinner with two friends at ‘Masala Bites’. Delicious in both taste and presentation. Tasteful, understated décor. Good service, friendly staff, better prices than some other Indian restaurants. I highly recommend. I understand that they also have a buffet-style lunch that is comparable in taste, and very affordable.

Exactly what I was looking for. Delicious Indian cuisine at affordable prices and walking distance from our home. We had the butter chicken and lamb roghanjosh with garlic naan, perfection. The appetizers were great too, although a bit spicier than I was expecting. When we left my boyfriend said, «that was fantastic!» He’s not a very excitable guy so I was even more impressed by that point! We’ll definitely be back :)

I had the butter chicken and lamb rogangosh delivered to me and what a delicious mouthful. Small portions to be sure, and skimpy on the rice but very tasty. I came back for the all u can eat buffet for New Years Day to recreate the experience but was disappointed at how muted the dishes were. The dishes were lukewarm, not spicy, and the consistency like slop. Would recommend only going for menu items!

This fine Indian Cuisine restaurant is across the street from my store… way too close because I could eat there everyday. I have eaten in many Indian restaurants but I have to say this was the BEST. We tried for the first time Aloo Tikki Chaat ~ Crispy potato patties served with chickpea masala… it was so delicious. Aloo Gobhi Fresh cauliflower & potatoes cooked with onion & tomatoes. The potatoes were so perfect tasting Good old faithful… Butter Chicken Clay oven cooked chicken, in authentic rich tomato based gravy. Ok, I could have had just the sauce with naan and I would have been HAPPY!!! The whole meal was outstanding! The only problem I cannot eat there everyday can I???

Credible, home cooked feel. Affordable pricing albeit a tad bit sharp. Things such as Daal Tadka or Daal Makhani are expensive at CDN11.00. Regardless the food is well prepared and the service is great. A definite return site.

yet another standard fare Indian Restaurant. Nothing special at all. Butter chicken could have been from a jar. They are the second attempt at this location in under one year and will also fail. Looking at their website you see images of a beautiful restaurant, yet when you arrive it looks like a cafeteria. . great advertising to lose clients I don’t believe the other reviews are genuine.
