Oswego Video is more than just a video store. Sure, you can rent 5 older DVDs for 5 bucks in total and keep them for the week, but that’s only part of the appeal. They have a great selection of candy, a slushie machine, ice cream, and other convenience store embellishments. The people who work there are friendly, and they’ll give you a bit of leeway if you return your movies slightly late. I just wish they had a better selection of older(pre-2000) movies. They have also added a pet food/supplies section to the store, now giving James Bay two stores which happen to combine the sale of pet supplies with the rental of videos. As the movie rental industry continues to decline, I expect to see more stores pop up which combine the movie rental business with other neighborhood services
