Antique stores probably did as much for Kijiji as taxis did for Über. They tend to be museums where items are grossly overpriced/overvalued or collections of not-so-selective yard sale finds. In many cases both are run by people with little personality with more pride in their«if you break it, you bought it» sign than keeping a nice shop. This place is mostly a random assortment of junk, but there are some nice pieces of furniture and occasional interesting bric-à-brac. Prices here are reasonable for what it is– a small shop in a quaint old town. The owner seems willing to deal-something that is not often the case in the world of antique shops. On a hot day, it is very hot in the shop. The smell of oldness is much worse on such days. The good news is that can’t be that often.
