Amazing lunch! Loved everything! We got the strawberry pizza and pear and Brie sandwich! So fresh and yummy and very creative! Also loved fresh homemade strawberry lemonade! Wish I lived closer to go here more often!

Absolutely adorable and well done! The place the staff and food. All of it gets an A. Happy place good vibes and good baked goods. I had the quiche and side salad, tasty although the asparagus was too big and chewy. My partner had the turkey avocado and loved it. Also had the orange olive oil cake with thyme glaze, sooooooo good! Must have! Muah xoxoxo love you all. Peace and love

Had a nice relaxing lunch here on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon. My wife ordered the Brie and Pear sandwich and I had the Steak and Cheese. The Brie and Pear was quite nice and flavourful, however, we found the bread a tad thick and hard. My steak and cheese was very salty and did not taste like traditional steak… and not in a good way. The presentation for both sandwiches were beautiful and the service with a smile was friendly and super inviting. Our server even overheard that we would be sharing, so she pre-split our sandwiches on our plates so we each had a half of one another’s. For dessert we shared the peach pie and once again, it was a tad underwhelming. Maybe it was due to the fact that our good friends really hyped up the bakery for us. We will try it again when we are in the Niagara area as our experience was really good. Just didn’t meet high expectations the first time around.

The place is pretty cool if you’re looking to relax and have a bite to eat in a chic vintage home/porch. We went with the pies, Chocolate cream and Coconut. We found the flavours for both pies to be rich which was nice, but the textures seem very pudding like, and the crust lacks the brittle flakiness that I was looking for when cutting into it.

If I could give this place more stars I absolutely would! My friends and I were visiting the Niagara wineries all the way from Chicago, IL and needed a quick place to stop for food before heading back. We stumbled upon this gem(thank god) and were so happy we did. Each of us got something different… I opted for their meat pie while another friend grabbed a pizza and one friend chose a sandwich. Everything was extremely fresh and homemade! The food was so delicious that despite being full, we grabbed a cheesecake and coconut cream pie to share which were both to die for! We cannot wait to visit this place again.

I love eating here. Every time my wife and I come to Niagara we must stop in an eat here. The pizza is so good! It’s always fresh and always delicious. If you are going for lunch go on off peak times as it can get very busy!

Too good for words. Situated in an old home, the atmosphere is comfortable and warm. Probably can’t accommodate a large party since the space is fairly small and seems to cater more to smaller groups/dates. Although service was just okay, food was absolutely delicious! No fancy ingredients but good quality and great taste. Came on a late Saturday afternoon and ordered: Chicken & Mushroom Meat Pie($ 9) — Comes with a side salad which was unexpectedly amazing. Perfectly dressed and really fresh. The pie did not disappoint either. Crust was nice and flaky. We were tempted to order another. The Blue Pear Pizza($ 15) — This was my absolute favourite. Mozzarella, pear, walnuts, blue cheese and prosciutto made for a wonderful combination. One of the best thin crust pizzas I’ve ever had. I still think about it every now and then. Definitely a must-try! Niagara Apple with Walnut Sage Peste Pizza($ 16) — this was a seasonal item that I highly enjoyed as well but couldn’t quite beat The Blue Pear(don’t think anything else can). It’s less sweet in comparison and the apples add a nice texture. Make sure to pick up some goodies at the bakery on the way out. The apple rhubarb pie is a little too sweet for me but I highly recommend the butter tart and pumpkin pie. It’s nowhere near the Falls but completely worth the drive out if you’re spending a weekend or doing a day trip of some sort in Niagara. Definitely returning to this hidden gem the first chance I get.

Definitely a Niagara gem. The restaurant sports a very homey and rustic feel. Not great for big parties but great for an intimate brunch outing. Simple food, using quality local ingredients at its best. Delicious offerings that will definitely leave a lasting impression. Would definitely recommend a try for any foodie wanting quality food. The pizza and the bakery goodies are a must try. The salad tasted amazing as well! Perfectly dressed and tossed, pairing well to balance the taste and texture of the menu. The bakery is a bit pricier but the butter tarts, coconut cream pie and pumpkin pies won’t disappoint. THISPLACEISTHEEMBODIMENTOFLOCALFOODDONERIGHT! A hidden gem. Give it a try and you won’t regret.

I drool thinking about this place. One of the best pizza’s I have ever had, ever. Homemade, thin crust, crispy but not hard, good quality ingredients, no cheaping out on toppings, homemade taste… simply amazing. We ordered the Kaptain pizza,($ 14ish), the fish taco($ 6 — kinda pricey but very good), the sweet potato fries with aioli($ 6ish — yummm) and two desserts: a slice of amazing fresh peach pie(last slice they had!) and a slice of homemade cheesecake with niagara grape topping and peanut graham base(I LICKED the plate) — total for two of us was about $ 45 inclusive and we were stuffed :) Cute small-town place with super friendly, laid-back staff. A non-pretentious homey place with amazing, home-made, good quality food. Only cons is that it runs out of fresh made pies early as they are so popular, so you may have limited dessert choices, and may not be able to bring a pie home as we planned to do. But good news is that if you call ahead they will hold one for you, which is what we will do next time… which will be very soon :)

Checked out this cute little spot while in Niagara On The Lake. It’s a small little restaurant with a great side patio and bakery. Everything here was fresh and tasty! They had delicious homemade meat pies and fruit pies that were sooo flaky and savoury. I’m a sucker for homemade buttery pie crust :). There were also some sandwiches and salads on the menu and a nice selection of local beer and wine. After eating the chicken pie I went over to the bakery and bought a peach and raspberry tart for the trip back to Toronto. Love this spot, if you’re in the area be sure to stop by!

After learning of this spot from some avid foodies I was lucky enough to have a peach pie brought back from here since I wasn’t able to get out to Niagara. Wow such a delicious and fresh peach pie! The crust was just right and the filling wasn’t too gooey or too sweet. The peaches were definitely fresh. I want more pie!

Delicious!!! The pies were amazing(really fresh ingredients and just-right not too sweet), and the iced tea was a perfect brew. Really glad we stopped for a quick snack here and will definitely visit again next time we vacation in the area.

A lovely outdoor lunch! We visited after a morning of sightseeing in Niagara-on-the-Lake and we had such a nice lunch on their patio. We each ordered a sandwich(turkey/avocado and ham/brie) and we really enjoyed them. I found the bread a little hard, and after a bit of a workout for my jaw I decided to just eat what was in the bread — and my husband felt similarly, though he was able to chew the bread. For dessert we shared the grape pie — so delicious, perfect crust. Service was good: she was friendly and chatty and attentive. We had a good time! Check this place out!

While vacationing in the Niagara region, we(my wife and I) stumbled upon this place strictly by accident. We weren’t looking for the typical touristy type of fare… this HITTHESPOT ! What a GEM!!! We feel so fortunate to have found this place. We were really pleased that we chose not to eat in downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake, at one of the overprice, under quality joints down on the main drag. First off, it’s in a huge old house. It’s not the nicest place in the world, so if you’re looking for 5 star dining, best you move along. We chose to sit outside on the porch, which is kinda cramped and small. It’s almost like sitting on your own porch at home !! However, it’s quaint, cute and wonderful !! Our waiter was amazing… he was knowledgable about the food, quick with service and friendly. The food — was … well… special. I had a steak sandwich… probably the best steak sandwich I’ve ever had. The bun was perfect(home made). The steak had a unique, light, flavor. It was tasty and wonderful, and it was big enough to take home ½. My wife had a quiche that she loved. She had a salad that looked like something off of a great tv cooking show. We decided to get some baked goods to take back to where we were staying. My wife overdid it of course. She bought a piece of Coconut Cream, Banana Cream, Chocolate Cream, and cherry pies, along with a scone and some shortbread cookies. I thought she overdid it just a bit. I was so greatful she did that. THOSEPIESWEREAMAZING. That was one of the best pieces of Coconut Cream I’ve ever tasted, as well as the Chocolate. These folks know how to make a pie !!! Plus, they are just tiny pies(not just a typical piece) and you get a huge hunk. I wish they had one here in Michigan, I’d be down there 3 times a week. All I can say is — I RARELY give 5 stars. This place is a DEFINITE stop. DONOTMISSGOINGHERE !!! It is A-1. By the way, we didn’t have the pizza — but we saw them… they look AMAZING !!!

We found this place in a restaurant book we saw during our lunch and just wanted to give it a try. The pies are delicious and service is great. We only got to try the Rhubarb Strawberry this time and loved it but if we are in the area we will surely coma back and try others as well.

Had a light dinner here on our Sunday night stay in the area before heading to Toronto. We were going to sit outside at first, but moved inside because it was a bit windy. The inside is quaint. Not much decoration. We were the only ones there as it was a bit late on a Sunday. My only complaint about eating inside was that the music was a bit loud. Yes, I could have asked them to turn it down since we were the only ones there, but that would have made me OLD! ;-) We got the pierogi with onions, a bruschetta that was good but I cant quite remember what it had on it! I know there was cheese, some anchovy, and arugula. We also ordered a delicious pizza with blue cheese, prosciutto, pears, and walnuts. The pizza crust was thin and crispy and the toppings worked so well together. Our waitress told us we couldn’t have any dessert because they didnt have anything left LOL! I was hoping to try some pie. After chatting with our server for a while about their pies, we said we would stop back on our way back home from Toronto to get a pie. We did indeed stop by in the morning a few days later and picked up a peach pie and a little rhubarb cream tart. The pie was still warm on my lap when I got in the car! So, I did what anyone in my position would do and grabbed a plastic fork and dug in for a few bites. Come on… you know you would have done it too!

Bookmarked this place ’cause I wanted somewhere local to eat… as opposed to eating at the Outlet Collection OR off a food truck at the outlet mall! I called ahead of time to make sure that they’d be open for dinner and they were, 9pm on Friday. :) After perusing the menu, I decided on the Strawberry Spinach pizza($ 15, that word«seasonally» does the trick!) and a Fish Taco($ 6 for 1). Also asked the waitress for a recommendation on a beer and she brought me samples!!! :))) BONUS. I believe a half pint was $ 4. Strawberry Pizza — Didn’t taste as weird or as good as I expected. The flavours were rather subtle. The crust was EXCELLENT! Strawberries weren’t overly sweet and nothing else on the pizza was overly salty so it wasn’t as much of a flavour explosion in mouth. I probably would’ve enjoyed something like the Kaptain more. Fish Taco — Good flavours, but like 1 taco for $ 6. I guess that’s an ok price since some chain place would charge $ 13 for 2 – 3 tacos, but larger ones. I guess they can justify the price depending on what sorta fish they used. I didn’t bother to ask. I was too full for a baked good and it was also late in the day, so I didn’t bother getting one. Perhaps I should’ve for«the road». Prices were approx. $ 3 – 4 each and they had date squares, brownies, tarts, etc. Slices of pie were $ 5. Nice and super friendly service! Next time I’d skip the Strawberry Pizza and chose something else.

Best tasting pizza I’ve ever had! Get the pizza. Seriously. If you’re hungry you could probably eat one pizza yourself. So if you’re with a friend, I’d suggest ordering one pizza and something else. Their sandwiches were okay. The entire bread(not just the outside crust) was a bit too hard/crusty/crispy for me. A lot of the reviews mention how good the sandwiches were so maybe they were having an off day with them. The table beside us had one of their quiche and it looked delicious! We also got a slice of their famous peach pies and butter tarts to go. We actually forgot we had gotten these and ate them 8 hours later and it still tasted good. The service was decent considering how busy they were during the lunch hour. If you’re planning a trip to Niagara, I highly recommend stopping by this place for lunch or even just grabbing something to go.
