I normally don’t buy games at EB outside of my city but I made an exception today. Today is Tuesday and game releases are usually on Tuesdays. Released just today was Dragon Age Inquisition. I like Bioware games and while I can’t play it right away(I live in Toronto, not Vancouver) I wanted to make sure I was able to get a copy and not have to go out and buy it after I get home. I saved 1% in taxes as a small side benefit too. I was able to use my EB Edge card here too so it was ok to buy out of province and not lose the Edge benefit. I like the fact that I can trade in used games for pre-purchase of games that aren’t even released yet. The sooner you trade in, the higher the value of your used game if it’s a recent game. Because of a good trade in program and reservation system, EB is my game retail store.

Just like any other EB games around here, this place basically sells many of the Games you might be interested in for PS3, PSP, DS, Xbox 360, Wii & Wii U. Their employees there are pretty friendly and their prices are the same as any other Gamestops/EB games. I would only recommend coming to this EB games if you are in the neighborhood.

By contrast to my other EB Games review, this one is my favourite. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, there’s usually enough of them, and they’re always happy to lend a hand. I do all my pre-ordering at this location even though it’s out of my way since I moved — they’ve been good to me in the past, so they get my business whenever I’m in the mood for video games(which is pretty much all the time, ever). If you buy a used DS game, it’s probably mine. I went through a bit of a. phase. a few years ago, and bought(and played, and finished, and traded in) almost every DS release that came out. Fun fact! I’m poor now.
