History

Established in 1968.

Columbia Auto Service is a Waterloo institution. The Voigt family has been in the car repair business since the 1950’s and the family-​run business is still going strong.

Jim Voigt and his wife Laurie took over the business in 1992 and their daughters Sarah and Alysha work in the customer care department.

The family atmosphere extends to the excellent customer service clients receive at the garage.

«I think the fact that we’re a family here creates an atmosphere of trust.» Voigt said.

Columbia Auto Service is the biggest garage using NAPA Auto Pro parts in the region and is a 10-​time winner of the CAA customer service award.

The garage has also won the NAPA Leadership Award and is nominated for the Auto Pro garage of the year.

In 2010 we were nominated for Canadian garage of the year in SSGM magazine.

In 2011 we were awarded the title «Best independent auto service facility in K-​W» as voted by the K-​W Record’s Readers’ Select Awards.
