Twice Is Nice & Twice the Man Clothing & Selectables

I guess I want to say the most disturbing thing about this store, is due to apparently minimal knowledge on real & fake labels, you really, really, really need to know what’s authentic and what isn’t. I can quote the conversation I had with the owner who said:
«IF YOU THINK IT’S REAL, THEN IT IS.»
Eek! You could go to a Winner’s and pick up a genuine label that’s sat around too… least you’ll know it’s real… or want a fake? Go to Toronto and get every brand you can think of, counterfeit, but new, and cheaper! Here, you might have some genuine labels, interwoven with some faded, cheesy knockoffs, still at a premium price. I wholeheartedly think the sales people and its owner need proper training on fakes. Their lack of empathy when I said fakes exist in the store makes me maybe wonder if they’re «knowingly» using fakes as filler to plump up the racks. Either way, something about this must dart around legalities. Have even pondered sending investigators into this retailer to sniff out the fakes, like they do in Toronto. Who cares if the stores there sell ‘em new with tags, etc? Fake is fake. I do not believe this whole store is carrying counterfeits, just a large, large portion of it. Buyer beware indeed!

This place is amazing! Prices here are a little higher than what one might expect but that’s because this place is a consignment store and not a thrift store. They have some really good brands for good prices and the clothes and shoes are in very good condition. The store is charming and spacious and has a very good vibe to it. The lady at the counter (I think she’s the owner?) seemed very friendly. I’m definitely coming back here to look at the place leisurely.
