Decent bar, but got horrible service last night. Bar tender girl was rude and disrespectful.

Chill atmosphere with a wide selection of cocktails, wines and beers. Went there on a Wednesday night and it was not too crowded, just nice for a catch up with friends or having proper conversations. Would recommend this place for those looking for a casual night out with friends or even a date.

Was looking for a cool bar/pub to go check out and try a few drinks later on at night. The place boasts about its drink menu with a huge choice of cocktails, it seemed a natural choice to go check out. Since I’m a huge drink connoisseur, I started off with something that is hard to screw up as a bar, the Old Fashioned. I was disappointed quite quickly with the quality of this standard cocktail. 1. The whiskey/bourbon tasted watered down 2. Rather than a sugar cube of ice, there was crush ice 3. Rather than a peel of orange skin, it was a slice of orange. The vibe is cool, with the general crowd between the age of 24 – 35, young working group. The music could be a little too loud at times. I’d give the ambiance a solid 4⁄5 but the drink quality is 2⁄5.

My common law and I went there last night as her co-worker said they had great mussels. The waitress who took more than 5 minutes to ask for our drink order and advised us that they ran out of mussels. I had to ask her again for our drink as over 10 minutes had passed. We decided on what we wanted from the menu. I ordered the brisket sandwich; which was dry, boring and the coleslaw was the same. She ordered the salmon; which had to be sent back. It was straight raw. We both love sashimi not a raw fillet The quality of the food is great but awful skills in the kitchen and the service sucks. I remember as a child saying white rabbit white rabbit to get the campfire smoke out of my face. Never worked so I you moved spots. I will be moving to another restaurant.

Dropped in for first time on a Sunday night. Great atmosphere, super-friendly staff and open ’til 2am every night. Sunday nights are hip-hop night with a DJ spinning… never would have expected it, wish I had come in sooner. Just a great experience overall in uptown Waterloo.

It’s a small causal bar in Uptown Waterloo. I like the atmosphere. We ordered mussels(all you can eat for $ 20) and the steak. The mussels are good. I like the bloody caesar one more than the miso. I find the miso broth too salty and doesn’t really taste like miso. For drinks, we ordered the rabbit greyhound. Nothing special. My friend came here a couple times and mentioned that the cheese/meat boards are really good.

It was my first time coming here with a friend a few nights ago, it’s nice seeing a nice casual bar in Uptown Waterloo. I liked the seats by the garage window and tried the Rabbit Rickey, which was pretty good. I was hoping to try the Monday night special(pork belly ramen with Sapporo for $ 20) but wasn’t hungry, so hoping to try it next time.

I’ve been about 5 times now. Service is pretty good, maybe only once I wasn’t impressed. Drinks are interesting, but my best ones have been ones not listed on the menu. I’ve sat in a variety of places, all seats are good seats. Place gets really busy on the weekends. I want to try their brunch still– have heard good things. Good wise I’ve only tried the cheese boards which were excellent. Love the décor. Opening weekend met one of the owners and he was very nice. Sunday’s DJ Flash spins old school stuff. The sangria and punch bowls are fun but not worth the $ 40 price tag. Good for a date night or girls night. Larger groups are hard to accommodate.
