Gourmet Cupcakes, Cakes, Pastries, Full catering, and More. We offer over 115 flavors of cupcakes/​cakes, with several «signatures» that are made fresh daily. Serving up both sweet and savoury products, we offer soups, salads, sandwiches, specialty coffee, loose leaf tea, in our café. Come in to sit down and enjoy or take away, there is something for everyone. We are considered a «clean ingredient» bakery which means we do not use any artificial flavoring, preservatives, or chemicals in any of our products, and all ingredients can be named by name. We also offer Gluten Free, Sugar Free, Dairy Free, and Egg Free Products. We are 100% peanut and Tree nut free.

History

Established in 2010.

Above and Beyond Cupcakes started in 2010 with Bothe Ryan Hegedus and Stacey Clare Creating Cakes and Cupcakes for Family and Friends. Lifelong friends joined together in 2011 to start working on opening a store. Working out of Notre Dame College School in Welland’s Kitchen, they started to go to work on finding a location. In February 2012 a location was rented and opened on May 25^th 2012

Business Owner

Ryan Hegedus is a graduate of Niagara College for Hospitality Management: Hotel Restaurant Management. Having over 10 years of Management experience in Restaurants in the Niagara Region, she has the background in experience and training needed to run a successful business.

Stacey Clare is a graduate of Niagara College for Culinary. She has over 10 years of experience working in fine dining restaurant as a chef in the Niagara Region. She has such creativity when it comes to food, and the flavor combinations that she comes up with are just delicious. She has what it takes to bring the business of the bakery together with her culinary background.
