We are a refilling service in Welland, refilling and selling ink-​jet printer cartridges and selling re-​manufactured laser toners since 2004. Rest assured we use high quality ink and test your cartridges in house to ensure the best possible quality and re-​usability. Some cartridges can be successfully refilled up to 12 times.

History

Established in 2004.

Island Ink-​jet Welland was founded on the 3 Rs: Reuse, REFILL, Recycle.

Every year over 60 million new ink-​jet cartridges are sold across Canada. If you put all of the new ink-​jet cartridges sold in Canada end to end, you’d have a line of them over 3,800 kilometers long — that’s further across than the moon! Of these, it’s estimated that only about 5% are ever recycled. It takes around 74ml of oil to produce a single inkjet cartridge. That means it takes over 4,440,000 liters of oil to keep Canada in inkjet cartridges every year, and that’s excluding shipping from Ireland, the Philippines, Malaysia etc.

We are here to save you money and help the environment by refilling ink cartridges locally. Unlike OEM manufacturers would like you to think, using a refilled or re-​manufactured cartridge CANNOT void your warranty and most cartridges CAN be filled more than Once! In fact we recently had a cartridge come in that was refilled 12 times! now that’s a lot of savings by buying locally.
