M Smart Design

I have been carefully saving up for a big purchase because I fell in love at M Smart Design. The object of my desire? A natural latex mattress, breathable and sealed in organic merino wool. I know dreamy isn’t it? (really, it’s because I’m paranoid about fire retardants in traditional mattresses and a bit of an eco-​freak).
My first contact with the store was through email, which is how all great relationships seem to start these days! I was curious to find out a bit about their mattresses before I made a trip to West Vancouver. With some useful information tucked into my pjs, I headed over to Park Royal Village.
I thought I would just test out a mattress and then be on my way. ½ hour later I was learning some facts that had me rethinking my pjs, sheets and mattress. Not quite the bedtime story I thought I would get, but good information all the same!
They also carry all eco-​friendly housewares such as bamboo sheets, children’s bedding and furniture.
I’ll have to save up a little longer for my dream-​come-​true bed, but I’m hoping that by this summer, I’ll have a new mattress to jump up and down on.
