Mulgrave is an IB Continuum School, offering IB World programming in the Junior School (Primary Years Program, or PYP), Middle School (Middle Years Program, or MYP), and Senior School (Diploma Program, or DP). All students learn under one roof on the side of Cypress Mountain where we’re proud to be opening a new state-​of-​the-​art Senior School in Winter 2014.

History

Established in 1993.

Mulgrave School sprang to life in September 1993, when the Board of Directors responsible for operating the West Vancouver Montessori School employed Linda Hamer as Head of School. The vision was to create a new independent, non-​denominational school on the North Shore. For the first few years, Mulgrave School operated out of the North Shore Winter Club. In 2001, the school moved into its current facility on Cypress Lane. Our Early Learning Centre was added in 2010, which finally brought together all of our students from Pre-​K to Grade 12. In 2014, we plan to inaugurate the purpose-​built Senior School that will provide our students with a world standard, pre-​university environment which will support the personalisation of learning, the development

of modern 21^st century skills and further strengthen our community.
