Old Navy is nearly always a mess! Made for giants, an average person cannot even reach the top hangers without pulling their shoulder tendons. Prices are usually overblown with some sales, and signage is always deceiving so that if you don’t read the fine print, confusing wording, and generalized«sales» or something is misplaced in their jungle mess, then you just waited 30 minutes on average in the lineup to find out you don’t have a sale item which is what they are betting on, and buy it anyway. They hire mostly one or two ethnic grouped youth, a couple of minorities to fill their quota who are put on a very obvious sparse, horribly open and minimum hours weekly work schedule, and a couple middle agers, hardly any seniors… can you say, «nonexistent!»…very sad day when ageism and racism is alive and well in our so-called multicultural and educated society.

I had a pretty good customer service experience today at the Park Royal branch of Old Navy. One of the worst things for me to do is go clothes shopping… even worse is shopping for jeans. However, today, I found a nice style but couldn’t seem to find the right size. So I asked one of the sales staff. I was really impressed how much time she spent looking for the jeans in my size. Most young people would simply tell me that if I couldn’t find it on the shelf then they don’t have it. So I really appreciated her taking the time to look. The only issue I had with my visit to Old Navy was that there doesn’t seem to be an effective shelving system that doesn’t require me having to tear the place apart to find the right item. All in all, though. Good experience.

Good location by the Home Depot, a corner store. As usual, same high ceilings and deals galore. Kids stuff in the back, and some real nice patterns for PJs. Smart how they’re always up-selling/cross-selling while you’re standing in line, with small nick nacks right there.

aw man i felt so dirty in here. the second you walk in you are overwhelmed with the stench of cheap clothes. was simply depressing. i was there specifically for flip flops which seemed to escalate in price pretty much everywhere else i looked in town. so i grabbed a few pair for $ 6. sweet! then when i got to the cash she asked me if i knew they would be a LOONIE the next day. good god. instantly felt even dirtier.

This store feels chronically understaffed. There are always upwards of 5 – 7 people waiting for the change rooms and for the cash registers. The staff are friendly, but the managers are creating an exhausting and not fun experience by making me wait in 10 minute+ lines.

I wouldn’t shop here for myself, but when i had to buy clothes for my gf’s baby shower I decided to check it out, This location was pretty large. It was clean and bright. I found SO much cute baby stuff !! Tons of adorable baby boys outfits with cute sayings like a pirate octopus«Ahoy Ladies » A baby cap & booties with skulls on them. As well as a baby baseball cap with skull. There was so much to chose from! I found myself going overboard !! Then … I hit the clearance section. There was even more great stuff at almost stupid low prices! To top things off, EVERYTHING I bought in The kids & baby section were on sale for 30% off.!! This included the already discounted clearance priced items. I got 11 items for under 45 $ unreal! Hell ya I will be back !

Old Navy was sorta like what H&M is now at one time… everyone was always bragging about shopping there on trips to the US and we all watched the commercials on American TV channels and were soo jealous that we didn’t have such a cool store… then we got Old Navy… and nobody cared… They do get a bit of a bad rap but they aren’t really that terrible. I recently stopped in for some Christmas presents for my niece and nephews. the kids clothes are super affordable and have some pretty cute designs… I also found a few things for my Mon and Dad. nothing fancy but some nice sweaters and basics I know they can use… the prices were RIDICULOUSLY cheap as they had some über holiday promo. they might as well have just handed stuff out for free. I walked out with 2 huge bags of cloths and only spent just over $ 100! Also…they have a great selection of Cashmere sweaters? Who knew that Old Navy had good Cashmere?
