In 1999, Sliq sold its first products to the entertainment market, instantly attracting top-​tier customers such as Microsoft, MTV, Virgin Digital, NPR and many leading brands. No sooner than it had established itself as the premier supplier of cloud-​based software for streaming video, the market collapsed along with the Internet economy.

Sanjiv founded the company in 1999 to pursue his passion for digital media after selling his interest in several other successful technology companies that he had founded. As an established participant in the digital multimedia software field and a respected industry professional, Sanjiv also provides subject matter expert consultation to some of the world’s best organizations including NBC/​Universal, Microsoft, the Canadian House of Commons, the Senate of Canada, the Supreme Court of Canada and AT&T Laboratories.
