I went into this place a couple of times for breakfast. They open at 630 am. So I walked in around 7am to order their vanilla French toast. The first time the lady thought I was ordering a latte. Didn’t realize they had a French toast latte. Then they told me they don’t serve breakfast until 8am. Which I thought was odd since they open at 630 am. I finally went back to try their French toast. It came with a slim amount of berry topping and very little syrup. Didn’t think it was worth anywhere near the asking price and the service was terrible. Not going back there ever again.

A café that serves booze! Nice tables outside to chill on a hot summers day. Located on bike-route cross roads.

Stopped in here for breakfast one morning. Ordered the Mexican Hash and asked for Chorizo to be added to it. A minute later they inform me they are out of Chorizo, So I ask for a side of smoked salmon and a side of bacon. You pay for your order and then find a seat and they drop it off at your table. Not a fan of this dish. The potatoes were cut to large to be considered a «hash,» and they were not well done enough. The poached eggs and the side of the bacon were the only thing this dish had going for it. The smoked salmon was one of the blandest smoked salmon flavor experiences I can ever remember having. Coffee was average. People were nice, food was meh. I think if I were to visit here again, the only thing I would be interested in trying is the Alpine scramble. The is a limited amount of seating inside — maybe 5 tables. There is a large deck area outside with a lot more seating.

Had 10+ burgers there this winter. 3 were great, and the rest were met. The service was so bad the last two times that I have to returned since. Hopefully they have some new girls next season.

Fantastic! I’m staying down the street at a local’s airbnb for the week, and I’ve eaten here every night. Quick friendly service, quality food. Tonight’s special is lamb shank — melts right of the bone. I wanted a hardy pasta meal last night, and they’re Popeye pasta dish was awesome. Their burger the night before was excellent as well. Not cheap as far as their prices, but reasonable considering big quality portions. Super small inside, so get cozy when it’s too cold to sit outside. You’re likely going to be sharing a table at peak hours. If you’re not into meeting and breaking bread with an eclectic clientele tavern style, go back to the village and eat at a trendy tourist bar.

This place is great. I say this place as I am sitting on their patio using their wifi to write this review. I’ll keep it short, unlike my stay there today. I’ve been here since about 3:30 or just after. Sitting on their lovely patio, enjoying an iced latte(actually on my 2nd) a sandwich and taking a Rice Krispie square to go. I’ve got to say this is my new go to place. So close to where I’m staying, reliable, pretty reasonable prices. Food was all right. But what I’m really in it for is these iced lattes. Their espresso is top notch, in as much as I know about coffee, and I WILLBEBACKFORMORE. :) Also good wifi to get work down outside and a shady patio is really doing it for me right now. Thanks Alpine café!

We went here before the four of us went to the Scandinave Spa. We grabbed a couple of BLT sandwiches to share and my girlfriend suggested the energy bar so we each got one. The sandwich was on thick fresh bread and ½ was perfect. We didn’t want to be too full before heading for massages and steam rooms. The energy bar was amazing! I nibbled on some before we got to the spa and had to force myself not to devour it. They’re not cheap but they’re so very good. A mid-spa pit stop at my locker was the perfect time to finish that baby off. Yum! I’d go there again for lunch and I heard their coffee is good too.

I like this café, it is cozy and great quick place to eat. Very small so sometimes hard to get a table. Great bfast and coffees. Definetly a busy spot with the locals as it is a constant stream in and out. Easy parking in front. Great pasta 2 for 1 some nights. Live music some nights. Always happy when we leave. Last week had their chicken cesar, it was very good($ 12) was ok price, but the salad was decent enough.

I’ve lived in the hood for over a year, and I’ve only recently eaten here. The food appears to made fresh. I had some primavera pasta and it came with a choice of various breads. The portions are of average size but it was just the right amount and I was satisfied and didn’t need more. It’s probably more of a place for locals, but some folks that are passing through and don’t want to pull into the village(Whistler) might stop here. The staff are friendly and laid back — I wouldn’t expect any less from the Alpine Café.
