We chose this restaurant in our hotel because we couldn’t get a reservation for our group of 6. But they were excellent with a peanut and gluten allergy, a vegetarian, and a picky child. Service was very good. Kids 5 and under eat free. Other food is a tad pricey but everything was delicious. They did an extra veg sub to make my half chicken gluten free and it was ample.

Located on the second floor in the Westin hotel. Have only tried the breakfast buffet. Food was good and selection is decent. But, nothing to write home about. And, it’s pricey. Don’t expect a morning smile from the omlette guy, he seems pretty put out when you ask him for something. Waitress service was always great. Very friendly and on top of the coffee/juice refills.

*I have only dined here for breakfast so my review reflects this* The Aubergine Grille is a great space to hold many for breakfast/lunch/dinner however, I only experienced breakfast here. The service was quite good, and the place was very clean. I like the fact that the tables aren’t so close together and appreciate that management doesn’t try and stuff as many people as possible in here. The complimentary breakfast was fine and did the trick considering we didn’t have to pay for the breakfast. The buffet breakfast was the highlight. It had everything from meats, cheeses, omelets, potatoes, bagels, fruit… just everything. I look forward to coming here the next time I make the trek to Whistler.

$ 22 Cheeseburger that was just mediocre and it took over an hour to arrive from time of order. Frozen OreIda tater tots from a bag would have been better than the sorry excuse for tater tots Aubergine served up. The place was almost empty on the Sunday night of President’s Day weekend; that should’ve been my first clue we were in the wrong place. Lackluster server who really didn’t have an explanation as to why food took so long to get.

we ate here on a friday night and it was awesome. the food was good and the service was good as well. it was lobster night so we all ordered the special prixe fix which was either lobster/clam chowder or lobster salad and then either whole lobster or lobster/steak surf and turf. the lobster salad i had was fresh with plenty of lobster meat. i tried the chowder too and it was full of clam and lobster meat and not too thick or starchy. the full lobster i had also had a few shrimp and a whole lobster! it was delicious. fresh and flavorful. it was my cousins sons birthday so they made a hude sign on a plate and brought it out. the waitress was super helpful in getting that out and helping us take pictures.

Due to last years delicious experience we chose the Aubergine to celebrate our 28th Anniversity. Lindsay was once again an informitive and friendly waiter and the food was very good. The flourless chocolate cake was very yummy!

This resto is located inside the Westin Whisler so we had their breakfast buffet here during our stay. Service was fine here and the hours are good(you can get breakfast/buffet up until 11 am) but it’s not worth the money. The hot breakfast buffet is $ 25.50 a person which was a bit steep, but we went with that since the a la carte options were $ 18 – 20 each. I figured I’d rather spend a bit more and have the variety. Good selection — cereals, pastries, smoked salmon and meats, fruit, yogurt, cheeses, and hot items included waffles, pancakes, potatoes, frittatas, bennies, eggs, bacon and chicken or regular sausage. The food quality was good overall although I’d definitely suggest that they get a new waffle batter — this one is way too dense! Aside from that, the items I had were good quality but carries the Whistler mark-up.
