Babysitting in Whistler
Whistler has endless fun in store for your family — for winter and summer vacation! Whether you’re hitting Whistler’s beautiful slopes to ski and snowboard or simply taking time to relax by the lake or on the golf course, Nannies on Call knows the activities to keep your children giggling from day to night.
Nannies on Call provides extraordinary nannies to care for your family on your schedule, whether you’re at home or in a hotel room — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our nannies are always experienced and available to care for children of all ages: from infants to pre teens.
History
Established in 2001.
As a parent you’ll eventually find yourself in the exact same place I did: about to miss an important event, faced with only my 14 year-old neighbor as a babysitting option for my two daughters — with my youngest less than a year old. I missed the event. Sat at home furious, then started planning. A year later — in 2001 — Nannies on Call was born.
Nannies on Call has now grown to include a placement division, as well as new office locations in Calgary, Whistler and Victoria. The company has consistently distinguished itself through innovation — we introduced families to a 24 hour paging system and were the first to require nannies to provide both a criminal record check and a current CPR/First Aid certificate. Our standards for expertise, safety, convenience and reliability are unmatched. Families know that a booking with Nannies on Call means their nanny will arrive pre-screened with a clear criminal record, bonded, and trained in first aid.
Meet the Business Owner
Michelle K.
Business Owner
In 2001, Michelle launched a small nanny referral service with one pager, five nannies and a determination to never find herself without reliable childcare. Nannies on Call now counts over 250 nannies, with offices in 4 cities.
In 2007 Business in Vancouver highlighted Michelle as one of Vancouver’s brightest stars in 40 UNDER 40, and in both 2008 and 2009 Nannies on Call was ranked #14 on the list of «Biggest Women-Owned Businesses in BC». In 2009 Michelle co-founded and joined the board of the Nanny Angel Network, a non-profit created to provide childcare relief for women with breast cancer. Michelle trains Pacific Assistance Dogs and lives in West Vancouver with her husband and two daughters. She is still trying to decide how she feels about Twitter. (Follow her @michellekelsey!)
