We experienced a few challenges on our trip to Whistler(including an auto fire). With each challenge, the owners of the resort rose to the occasion and exceeded our expectations. Whistler is fantastic but the owners, the staff, and the service here are what stand out from our trip. They helped me fight a fire, they protected my kids, and they did everything possible to make our unexpected additional night pleasant. I’d never stay anywhere else when I come to Whistler.

It’s hard to give any place in Whistler a bad rating because after all… you’re in WHISTLER! We were in room 14 which was a ground level 1 bedroom condo. It was nice and clean and all that I expected. We had plenty of room for a 1 bedroom place and the kitchen was also very spacious. The only negatives were the place is a little out dated and the distance to the ski lifts. But for some people the longer distance from the heart of the village may be a plus. There is a free shuttle service out front which is nice, but it doesn’t run before 7am. We usually like to get up to the base early so that we can enjoy the mountain breakfast. Parking is free which is a huge plus. It also has free wifi and a nice pool and hot tub. I would recommend this complex and would definitely stay here again. It would be a great location for the summer!

Clean, nice, quiet and roomy Condos. I stayed in unit air conditioning!!! which is bad during the summer heatwaves… they will tell you they have AC but they do not… they have a free standing AC unit in 1 upstairs bedroom… that barely cools that room. Fast Wifi and cable in our unit. The linens were new and high quality as was all the furnishings. The parking is underground and tight. The market and Starbucks is right across the street and its a short 7−10min walk to the main Village… Olympic Village is no more than a 5 min walk. This place has a pool and hot tub… the water was murky… and usually filled with noisy kids and family’s. It is quiet at nigh and I never heard anyone in the other units through the walls. My only complaint is the lack of AC.

Nice place. Brings good memories. Keep in mind though, each unit is individually owned. This is NOT a hotel in a sense that most people think of it. These are separate condos under property management. So your milage may vary. My personal experience was very good I would highly recommend this place. Cheers!

One of the best places to stay at while in Whistler~!! The condos were large, and you can have large groups staying here! The pool is on the outside, but it heated and bring tons of booze while you are at it~!! The only thing you need to worry about when staying here is that you have to clean your own sheets, and keep everything in orderly fashion before you leave. Take out all the garbage, it’s not a hotel. There are so many beds in the condo and two washrooms! It makes life so much easier room with your best friends and co-workers. It is a great place to have a group of friends to stay together and party out the whole weekend at Whistler. I loved the outdoor pool, even in cold weather and the hot tub! ! I really recommend this place to live for the weekend at Whistler~!! :D

Northstar resort is located on the north side of the world famous Whistler Village. It is just across the street from the Marketplace which made it very convenient for all my grocery needs during my stay in Whistler. It is also conveniently located to the great restaurants, shopping, and pubs within the Village. It’s around 10 minutes to the Whistler & Blackcomb bases, and there is also a shuttle stop close by that offers free regular runs to the base all the time. The two story townhome is spacious. It sleeps six with a full kitchen, washer and dryer, complimentary WiFi, and a jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom. Underground parking is so great, especially during the snow season. There are BBQ’s on the covered patio and they offer heated pool & hot-tubs. I enjoyed my stay at the Northstar resort and look forward to visiting again soon.

We stayed at the Stoney Creek Lagoons on a recent trip to Whistler. The condo was decent — sort of a weird layout in that every space that a door opens, you have to do an awkward dance to get the door shut behind you(entry, bathrooms, bedrooms, etc.) The cable tv and wireless internet both went out while we were there, but it wasn’t a big issue, as it was a quick fix. The unit was walking distance to Whistler Village and near there was a bus stop right across the street, so getting around town and to the mountain was easy. Our only complaint is that on Saturday night, somebody came to the door to ask us to turn the music down. It was like 1:30AM, and we were watching X-Games highlights at a moderate volume through the standard TV speakers. We were told that if they had to come back, «a $ 165 charge would be assessed.» No big deal, we turned the TV down and headed to bed shortly thereafter. The issue comes when we receive an email 2 days after our check out that states that due to our«noise violation» a $ 250 charge will be billed to the credit card that was on file. Total bullshit — and to think I otherwise would have given them 3.5 stars and rounded up to 4…
