Brigantino’s Trattoria has been serving the Windsor-Detroit area since 2015, catering to all those in need of a decadently home-cooked meal, featuring exceptional authentic Italian flair. The location is 501 Street East in Windsor, Ontario (Canada). Our lunch and dinner menus are compellingly extensive, coupled with a fine dining variety of antipasti, carne, insalata, pesce, pasta, zuppe, trattoria and combination dinners. The restaurant features an intimate and inviting atmosphere, a chic bar-lounge, complimented with cozy lighting, a traditional wood-oven and live music on the weekends. Established in 2015.

Moved from old location into a new one able to host events up to 150 people! Also featuring a sleek lounge and prime location on Erie St.

A real authentic Italian restaurant and a true favorite of mine! All the menu choices are outstanding and honestly, you cannot go wrong with anything you order. I tend to be very critical with my Italian food since nothing compares to homemade, but this is as good as it gets. You can definitely taste the freshness and can’t wait to return soon!

It’s great to see Brigantino’s back in action! We were in town for Bill Burr and stopped in for dinner. As we walked in there was Sam… immediately we knew this was going to be just like old times! We put our night in Sam’s hands and it was incredible from start to finish. I haven’t made the trip to Windsor, ON many times since moving to Metro Detroit 6 years ago, but I see that changing with Brigantino’s back on the map… Caio!

A little background for you: my relatives by marriage are of Italian descent and they have relatives in Windsor. It was decided we would all get together for dinner at, what else, an Italian restaurant. The Canadians chose Brigantino’s Trattoria, a Windsor Italian gem.
Half of our group knew the owners; it was like long lost friends meeting again. The owners broke out one appetizer after another for us and fawned over us. Each of us chose a different entrée and shared with others at the table. The food was fabulous. The servers were well-experienced and friendly. The décor was warm and the atmosphere in the room was festive. Everybody was having a great time.
My wife and I have been back, simply as American tourists, and enjoyed excellent meals and service.

Excellent service! Wonderful food. Sam, the cook came to our table complimenting my boyfriend and I and made sure we were ok. When we were leaving, he made sure to come out of the kitchen to greet us again. Loved the hospitality and great service, will definitely go back next time we’re in the country.

This was one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to. I am Italian so I am usually very critical of Italian (nothing compares to mom’s, Grandma’s). I took a little trip to Windsor and decided to go to Little Italy and look for something there. This was the first place we tried but we didn’t have a reservation (get one). The hostess was very nice and they move 2 tables together by the bar to sit our Party of 4. The food blew us away. Everything was made from scratch and tasted great. The 4 of us raved about how good it was all weekend and will be a regular stop every time we visit Windsor now. At the end of the meal the chef and the owner came out and talked to us. Everyone their was so nice and the service was excellent. Our bill ended up being around $ 120 Canadian which was well worth it. If you are looking for a place in Windsor just go, you will absolutely love it. (unless you are someone who thinks Olive Garden is real Italian :))
