Came here with a friend before some shopping at the outlets, and was pleasantly surprised. The décor was pretty cool. I’m not much of a sports fan myself, but the place was decorated with all kinds of sports memorabilia, and of course TVs. My favourite, however, was above the sunken pool table section there was a huge score board hanging like they have at basketball or hockey games. I had never seen something like that before. The food was surprisingly tasty. I had the taco salad. It was delicious, big and feeling. I would get it again. The service was a bit lacking considering it wasn’t very busy when we went. It’s a standard sports pub, but one of the better ones in my opinion. Lots of seating as well. If I were into sports I can see coming here a lot!

Great Sports Bar right by the Windsor Crossing! Stars of the Game is a sports bar located right across from the Windsor Crossing on W Sandwich Parkway. It’s a pretty big place and as soon as you walk in, you can see how impressive the place looks. The interior is every sports fan’s haven. I also like that they have a couple pool tables set up in a den right in the middle of the place. Off in the corner, there are a couple of comfy looking couches to watch some TV and they whole place is surrounded with TV’s everywhere. In the back there is a huge bar as well. The menu looks great as they have your bar food staples like burgers, sandwiches, and wings. The prices are a bit high, but the portions backed them up. The service for us wasn’t good. But I’ll give them a break, cause it looked as though it was one lady working the bar and the tables. My buddy and I got the dry ribs as an appetizer($ 9.95). They were bite size riblets crusted with a thin layer of batter, salt, and pepper. You choose to toss them in any of the wing sauces offered. We had them in bourbon bbq sauce. For an entrée, I ordered the rib and wing combo($ 14.95). It comes with a half slab of ribs and a half pound of wings to an order. It also came with a hefty order of fries and a side of coleslaw. My buddy ordered the fish n chips($ 12.95). The dry ribs appetizer was good. They weren’t high quality riblets or anything, but they were tasty little treats. The light batter tossed in the sauce gave it the feeling that you were eating chicken wings, only with rib meat. The porky flavor still came out and the sauce was real good. The Rib and Wing combo was a huge plate. The ribs were also covered with slices of bacon. When you give a man bacon when he’s not expecting it, you can pretty much win him over by that alone. The Ribs, however, were kind of disappointing. They were a nice half slab and the meat was very tender, but the ribs were a bit bland. They were dry rubbed, but much of that rub wasn’t too present. It would have been good with some bbq sauce of some sort. The wings were good. They were your standard buffalo wings that you get anywhere, but they were still good. There was a nice portion of them too(half pound). They all sat on a huge portion of fries. The fries were great because they were thick cut and seasoned great. The coleslaw was decent. Nothing special, but nothing bad either. The Beer Battered Fish N Chips were pretty big as well. They were two large pieces of Haddock that were coated in beer batter. It came with tartar sauce and a huge lemon slice(as well as fries and coleslaw). It was tasty, but the beer batter was a bit heavy. The fish was really good however. The batter was also a bit greasy, but it adhered to the fish pretty well. Overall, it’s a pretty good place to come eat some food and watch a game. The atmosphere is something that I will be definitely coming back to. They have sports memorabilia everywhere and the giant TV’s everywhere as well. The pool den is a cool little thing in the middle. The whole place is pretty legit and the food ain’t too bad either. Will come back to try their burgers and such.
