In my book, this Tim Hortons has two immediate things going for it: 1. It is the first thing you see when you walk out of the Tunnel immigration office. Like, it’s right across the street. Who can resist? 2. We don’t have doughnut places in Honolulu! Some grocery stores have doughnuts. Sure, Kamehameha Bakery has delicious donuts. But a straight-up doughnut & coffee joint? We don’t have one. So, I get a little more excited than I should when I see one. Although I’ve had Tim Hortons before, it’s been a very long time. I stopped by this location twice. Coffee is good. Timbits are even better than I ever remember them being. Hate to get anyone in trouble, but I seem to always get 12 – 13 Timbits when I order the 10-pack. Don’t worry, though, I’m more than happy to eat the extras. This location is great because it gives you a place to kind of relax before exploring Windsor. There is Wi-Fi available, so you can sit and enjoy your coffee while getting your bearings on your map app on your smartphone and send an iMessage to your brother to say you made it safely across the border without racking up major data usage fees. Or, maybe that’s just me. P. S. It’s so CHEAP here! At least, compared to what I’m used to. So, go ahead and splurge. It’s sooo worth it. Oh yeah, and this is a drive-thru location as well
