Windsor’s Community Museum is a cute museum created from an old large house. It has two floors. The first floor provides a decent background on the founding of the towns/municipalities that eventually merged/morphed together to become what today is Windsor. Historical information, pictures and maps include history of the car companies and the workers who lived in Canada and commuted to Detroit and vice-versa. There’s also a model bridge symbolizing the Windsor Bridge which would be fun for kids to go across — albeit a limited set of The second floor has a cute area where local dog owners can provide pictures and write-ups of their experiences with their dogs and the museum puts some of them directly on display while others are archived in binders and visitors can peruse them and read about owners’ experiences. I would recommend going to this museum to learn a bit about the history of Windsor — it’s free and you can spend as little as 10 – 15 minutes or more and provide you or your guests
