History
Established in 1906.
In 2007 Garrick Hotel was featured in Hollywood movie with Brad Pitt — «Assassination of Jesse James».
There is no physical evidence of Charlie Chaplin staying at the hotel, however, Charlie Chaplin has made 5 appearances in Winnipeg between 1911 and 1913. Considering the fact that Garrick Hotel was built in 1906, during Charlie’s visits Garrick Hotel would have been one of the newer, trendier hotels in town, there for we can assume that if he didn’t stay here, he most likly had a few drinks (or more) at the Garrick Hotel bar.
Today Garrick Hotel is known for it’s cozy vintage bar with Live Music, Great Food and Cheap Drinks.
