Love the crêpes here, I’ve always considered it a must visit when I go to Winnipeg. The crêpes are delicious, the drinks are alright(although their lemonade is quite tasty).

There’s only one place in the world that satisfies my love for Nutella. After asking for triple the Nutella than normal on my crêpe I was left feeling satisfied with myself. Also the BBQ Pork Crêpe is amazing.

Love their breakfast crepes! Delicious and unique! I like to pair it with a mocha bobble tea! I feel like everything is worth trying!

I would have actually given this 3.5 stars but since that is not possible, 4 it is. For Winnipeg, this place is quite good. However, I find this place has some problems with consistency. I have been here several times before and have tried the Uptown($ 8.20), Saigon($ 8.20), and the Big Feast($ 8.90). The Uptown is not bad but it feels like it is missing a component that would take it to the next level. The Saigon and the Big Feast are quite good but I usually get overloaded with sauce on these two crepes. I have even asked for less sauce but have still had it dripping through the crêpe! When coming here one should also take note that their drinks are on the pricier side. A cheap no-name brand of bottled water which costs 80 cents at the grocery store costs $ 2.20 here. When you get up to get your crêpe after they call your number just ask for a cup of water and they’ll give you one for free. Overall this place is still pretty good and has decent prices so I probably will be back, maybe to try a dessert crêpe next time.

Ok people, there isn’t much I say go to Winnipeg for(other than a Jets game), but, this gem of a place is one of those places where if you ever find yourself in the Peg, get your ass here and get ready for a party in your mouth. I’ll set the scene, skip this paragraph if you don’t care. A whole day at Winnipeg Stadium leads us to wanting, no needing, something sweet, refreshing, and totally not stadium food. We need fresh, we need savory, we need sweet, and we want to feel like pigs after. Well, this place is all of the above and then some. Walk in, the menu will be on your right reading from savory to sweet. I have no idea why I thought we’d need 3 of these between the two of us, but, I did. Savory: The Uptown(pay homage to Minnesota, yeah buddy) — Seasoned chicken, avocado and housemade citrus chipotle mayo and lettuce inside a crêpe. Sweet: Fruitella — Nutella and bananas. Sweet 2: Cheesecake Crêpe — Lemon cream cheese filling, mixed berry coulis, more bananas and graham wafers. Get a number, sit in anticipation. I mean, you see those nature shows where an old Wildebeest is on it’s last legs and a pride of lions are just to attack. That is the kind of anticipation we had for our number to be called. The people next to us were lucky they ordered after us, or I might have stole theirs. Then, «number 218». I hurdle chairs and stiff arm kids to get to the counter. Lets go through this so I can relive this, I’ll try not to cry… The uptowner: Oh my god. Yeah, that good. The crêpe itself is perfectly sweet, the chicken is amazingly juicy and tender, and that mayo with avacado is the refreshing kick on the palate that would make me fight a bear for this thing. It’s incredible to the last bite. The fruitella: truth be told, the woman would only let me have two bites because I threatened to not give it back after the second. Those two bites were incredible. Chocolate, with the sweetness of the crêpe and the fresh bananas, just amazing. The cheesecake: Hold on a sec, need a moment to gather myself. *Deep breath* ok, it’s one of the best things you can eat in Winnipeg. So amazingly perfect with a crazy flavor spectrum. Ctirusy from the lemon cream cheese, the berries give it a tarty sweetness, the bananas hit you with that sweet fruity flavor, the grahams then give you a different sweetness and a new texture, and oh yeah, the crêpe itself is another sweet flavor! It’s a messy on, get some napkins, put a bib on, huddle yourself in the corner and wreck this thing! Ok. Plus the service is awesome at the front desk and the location offers great people watching on Osborne(which is like Lyndale in Uptown Minneapolis). Only place I’d say you HAVE to go to, especially if you need sweets or savory, or anything.

Great spot! Really unique food, lots of vegan options, free wifi and the staff kindly asked if we would prefer to have our vegan crepes prepared on a different surface with different utensils than the non vegan stuff. The Ninja with tofu was my favorite! We made the mistake of ordering too many crepes, trust me, just one is plenty for one person!

This place is fantastic! The options are endless and so tasty. I can personally recommend the ‘sweet-tooth’ if you’re looking for something delicious and very filling. Its a delicious crêpe filled with a layer of nuttella, ice cream, whipped cream and your choice of fruit. I chose strawberries. So good! They wrap it up like an ice cream cone. Its pretty messy to eat so its not something you can eat while walking and definitely not a place a girl wants to go on a first date ;). Eating strategy: use a spoon initially… give up on being«proper» and just bite into it. If you’ve just had dinner and are looking for something light and tasty, I would recommend the milky way. Its a crêpe with a layer of nutella(or peanut butter) drizzled with condensed milk. Sounds simple but its delicious! Definitely first date friendly ;) The only thing is the place is a bit untidy. But that may have been because it was close to the end of the day and there was a flood in the bathroom!

Love it! I’ve never had a bad experience. Lots of variety, options for most palettes, and a cute atmosphere. I prefer the savory to the sweet crepes, mainly because I feel they get a nice mix of flavor while the sweet crepes are a lot of one thing which can get kind of yucky near the end. Pump up The Yam and Ninja are my faves, but if you don’t like any of their options you can create your own! They have crusts available in multigrain and gluten free as well as vegan, so if you bring a group everyone should be able to find something. Super kickin’ bubble tea as well! Get the Avocado.

Absolutely freaking amazing food! These folks KNOW how to make crepes right, and they make them to order only when you order, so you can see the freshness unfold before your eyes! The selection of crepes is absolutely astounding, and there always will be something for everyone there! I personally am in love with the Osborne Branch, but their breakfast crepes are also incredible as well! And Nutella… omg the Nutella. The huge jars alone had me perked and curious… but having it on a crêpe? Wow oh wow oh wow! Affordable prices, huge ass crepes and utter deliciousness are 3 of the main reasons I will bring ANYONE visiting out of town to here. It is a MUST visit place! If you walk by and see it packed… go in and get a crêpe and you will understand WHY it is… and it’s totally worth the wait for dreamy deliciousness!

The Vegan version Crêpe Shell was too salty. Regular crêpe shell tastes better than vegan crêpe shell. Hope they will alter their recipe of the vegan crêpe shell. I had to pay more for vegan crêpe shell and it was not worth it at all.

I’ve been here twice and was sick after each time. Tried one from each side of the menu. I don’t know what it is with this place but I just can’t eat it. I like the concept and presentation, the portions are large so congrats if you can eat the whole thing in one sitting.

I had the s’mores crêpe that has graham crackers, Nutella, marshmallows … And it was delicious. The lychee berry flavored bubble tea was also amazing. Nicely dine, clean place with energetic and sweet employees.

We entered the small, clean, and definitely hip creperie and were flooded with options. There were so many vegetarian options that we had trouble deciding. The range of flavor profiles was also extraordinary. We took forever to decide what we would order. In the end we ordered: — Uptown — Pump up the Yam Both of these were extraordinary and very different from each other. Everything was so good that we are certain to return and add a few more items to the list.

I absolutely love the crepes here! It’s a great place to hang out with friends or go on a date. However, it is really busy and can take up to 45 minutes — an hour to order your food and wait for it.

My boyfriend and I went here on a trip to winnipeg for our anniversary. We went there twice during our three-day stay(it was close to our hotel). The first time we went, we got savory crepes. I got the Uptowner(?) which had avocado and chicken, and my bo got… something with bacon and chicken. Mine was ok– it felt like it was missing something and i didn’t like the crêpe to crêpe filling ratio. He really liked his and ended up eating the last bit of mine. The second time we went here, we shared the sweet tooth(?). It had strawberries, nutella, ice cream, and chocolate syrup. it was AMAZING. By far the best crêpe either of us had had. We ate it within minutes and debated going back in to get another. Stray observation: both times we went in, just about everyone working seemed to be really unfriendly. I am not that picky when it comes to customer service(especially at a fast casual restaurant like this one) but the employees seemed almost angry.

LOVE Kawaii. Whenever my friends come back home for the holidays from school we always make sure we go here together. These are the best and the most fresh crepes I have had outside of Paris. The décor is playful and you order at the counter and wait for your number to be called at a table. They have savory and sweet crepes, whatever you are in the mood for. Their combinations are well thought out or you could make your own. Their fresh squeezed lemonade is delicious! They are really filling so I’ve never been able to have more than one at a time. They also have free wifi so it’s a nice alternative to work there if you are sick of Starbucks. The only draw back is if you go in during a busy period like lunch time, you could be waiting awhile for your food. They only have four heating irons to make the crepes and it can get backed up.

Yummy yummy diabetes in my tummy. No. But seriously, you can get either super sweet or super everything in a crêpe here! Good food with a side of great atmosphere and great«artistas». They have huge platter-like heating irons that they create the masterpieces on, right in front of your face. Their focus is Nutella spread, and if you don’t get your fill during the visit, buy one of their massive Nutella jars they sell in store. I think I will get just the crêpe on my next visit, as I don’t have a major sweet tooth, and I like the taste of the thick & rich crêpe’s made here, j-style. A must visit for Winnipeggers and the like!

I haven’t been back since they first opened in late 2009 because really, I’m not a huge fan of crepes. And I remember not really liking the thick sweet crêpe that I had with my savoury crêpe. I know the Japanese crepes are thicker and sweeter than the French kind. But really wanted this place to make separate crêpe batters for sweet and savoury items. Not sure when they made the change, but the crêpe batter today was definitely way thinner and less sweet than the one I remember. The crêpe tasted way better and less heavy so I was happy with that. I had the«uptown crêpe»($ 7.50) which has chicken, avocado and a citrus mayo. I liked this one though I felt the citrus was a bit overpowering but overall a good light summery crêpe. My bf had the«hot chick»($ 5.95) which was a veggie crêpe with sweet potatoes and chickpeas — he really liked the blend of spices in there. The lemonade($ 2.95) is freshly squeezed though way too tart for me but my bf really liked it. They now serve a multigrain crêpe for an extra $ 1.50, which seems like a pricey add on considering that most places wouldn’t charge you more for order whole grain bread vs white bread. Anyways, none were available the day we were there so I didn’t get to try it but my bf said the multigrain crêpe is pretty good so I’ll take his word for it. Service is not the fastest there and the staff don’t seem to reflect the cheery whimsical feel of the restaurant unfortunately. Not sure what happened to the free wifi but I couldn’t get access as it was locked and I was too lazy to ask because they had a huge line up.

Just had two crepes and one bite of another. Had the Popeye which was a vegetarian crêpe, only had Spinach, Feta and Pesto. Very good taste, even if it didn’t have any meat. The crêpe itself was thicker than what I would normally expect but it was very crunchy which I actually liked, sort of like eating a soft barquillio. To finish it off I had the Cheesecake crêpe. Unfortunately it didn’t taste as good as the Popeye crêpe. I probably won’t order this again as it was a bit heavy, almost like eating Bavarian crème donuts. I had a bite of the Chicken Avocado and Citrus Mango Dressing crêpe from my wife. Wasn’t too bad, though I liked the Popeye’s more in comparison. Their drink left much to be desired. We got a guava bubble tea. I am thirstier after drinking it than before and it wasn’t refreshing. It felt like drinking dehydrated simulated guava flavoring in powder form with ice and tapioca and twice the amount of sugar. Never ever getting this, but it is to be expected, it isn’t Ten Ren or Green Grotto of Toronto.
