Work drama in front of customers and pedicure lasted like 2 days lol. Not very professional.

You know, the updated façade made me think that this place would look really nice inside but that wasn’t the case. I think they may have only updated the exterior only or maybe the interior doesn’t live up to the renos outside. The place seemed a bit dated and not terribly clean. Not to say it wasn’t clean but it didn’t give off the clean vibe which makes me worry when I am getting a manicure. Anyhow, a French manicure is $ 26 so similar to most places in the city or maybe just a few dollars less. You just get the basics like soak, cuticle work, shaping and polish(no massage though). Anyhow, I asked not to have my cuticles cut or pushed back because I don’t really have any to begin with and I don’t find it appealing or sanitary. Yet, the lady who was really nice seemed to ignore my request to not have my cuticles worked on. She quickly snipped and pushed some back. I could have been really forceful but I didn’t as I was surprised that my requests would be ignored. I know at other places they respect that wish and don’t mind as it’s less work for the same price! I don’t think the French manicure is the best I’ve seen as the lines were a bit uneven. I don’t get manicures often so I don’t think I’d ever come back here. I’d rather pay a few dollars more to get a massage included and someone who listens to my request of no cuticle work!
