Put in an order for take-out with half of us being Gluten Free and the other half not. They got the order exactly right, with everything organized and separated for us. Great service! (Oh yeah and the sushi was delish too :-)

Price wise you get what you pay for. Service was fast and efficient, rolls were tasty but not the best the city has to offer.

What can I say? Coming from California to Winnipeg and eating sushi here can be a bit of a crap shoot. I guess I am spoiled. But I digress… I found this place via Unilocal and it looked half decent so I thought I would give it a go. From the outside it looks like a total dive. Upon entry I was pleasantly surprised by a modern looking restaurant with Asian inspired themes thru out. After finding a table we were greeted by a server and given a menu to peruse. What? No seaweed salad? Hmmm ok. It took her more than a few minutes to get our drink orders and then even longer to bring our drinks back to us. By this time we were famished and ready to order. I picked an assortment of rolls, the usual Cali roll, caterpillar roll, and a few other interesting concoctions which included a roll w bananas and tempura yams that was actually quite tasty, and their house salad. The salad was unimpressive. I really had my heart set on seaweed salad. The rolls were a lot of rice and not enuf of the good stuff. Definitely a lil on the small side. But I guess for the price, not bad overall. We managed to feed a family of four w beverages for less than $ 80. Would I reccomend this place to anyone else? Doubtful. Will I go back? No. I am sure there is much better sushi to be had in this city. Even if it doesn’t compare to what I can find on the west coast.
