Description

Specialties

High quality thin crust pizza hand crafted to order, baked in stone ovens to perfection. The process may take a little longer at Tony’s, the price may be a little higher, but the quality of the toppings is high and the process each pizza goes through makes it worth the wait.

We don’t claim to be the fastest, we don’t claim to be cheap, we strive to create the best tasting pizza baked with care. We respect you can spend your food dollars elsewhere, but we believe providing a quality product means something and holds value

History

Established in 1972.

Tony Rampone founded Tony’s Master of Pizza in 1972 after having his hand in many other restaurants in Winnipeg.

He built up Tony’s Pizza for 10 years, then sold his stake in the Pizzeria to move on to open more Italian restaurants.

Tony’s has had a few owners; once expanded to a dozen locations; however when that project did not succeed the Fort Garry institution remained and still stand as an icon in the community

Meet the Business Owner

Jamie Cinq-Mars M.

Business Owner

Jamie Cinq-Mars, an Internet marketer was brought aboard in November 2013 to help modernize the decades-old business. Before he started working there, Cinq-Mars already had an inkling Tony’s Master of Pizza had a faithful following. After all, when he was growing up in St. Boniface, his parents made a point of ordering from Tony’s whenever someone in their family was celebrating a special occasion.

What Cinq-Mars hadn’t realized, however, was how many people habitually travel from all four corners of the city — and from as far away as Starbuck and Morris — to pick up a pie at the Pembina Highway institution.
