I read the previous reviews and our experience was exactly the opposite.
A friend was in from out of town and was only looking for runners for a newly purchased home. We looked at the runners they had available and were ready to leave when one of the salesmen recommended she look at the remnants they had at the back of the store. She went back and found 2 she liked. The salesman explained that they could finish off the edges and that the order would be completed fairly quickly. He advised her that their orders come back on Mondays and Thursdays and that the person who finishes the customization on their carpets would be in shortly… so her order could go out that day. Sure enough, about 10 minutes later, someone appeared bringing in pieces of carpeting that had been custom ordered. She placed her order and it went out that day. Price points were very reasonable and the salesman was efficient and friendly.
While she was looking at throw carpet/​area rugs, the salesman offered more help and explained where each carpet was made (most were in Iran) and the variations in prices. As she lives out of town (Windsor), getting a large area rug home would be an issue, or else she would have purchased a fairly large area rug that was marked down from $ 1299 to $ 799. It was stunning.
From what I observed with how the salesperson was with her, his demeanor and approach was perfect… plus he was patient as she really had no clue with what type of rug she wanted… other than the fact it was a runner. He even looked at pictures she had of stairs (heading into her basement) to confirm the measurements were in the proper scope… as we thought it wasn’t measured properly. He assured her that the person (her friend) who did the measuring was correct in his measuring. Didn’t try to sell more than she needed.
I would go back if I needed rugs, however my dogs view rugs as grass and treat it accordingly. LOL

This is not the store that it used to be 5 years ago, as the ownership has changed. We were frequent customers with the old ownership. Today we went in, knowing exactly what we wanted. As we were driving up to the store, a guy was standing on the corner advertising 70% off. We were inquiring about the price of a particular carpet and were told it was $ 20/​square foot. Prior to coming here we went to Alexanian, where it was $ 9/​square foot (which is still negotiable). When we said that price is high and that we have seen much lower, we were told, verbatim «Get out of here and never come back.» Absolutely no respect. What is Canada turning into. Disgusting.

This place got the worst customer service.
My carpet was suppose to be ready 2 weeks ago. When I call them they got no clue what ur talking about, they have no idea who is who. They twice hung up on us claiming we didn’t buy anything from them. After 3 weeks they found the carpet worst alteration ever. Save your time And money. These people don’t deserve your money. They got lots of nice carpets to pick from. But volume of carpets doesn’t mean a good experience.

My wife and I went to get a quote from them in August. They told us in order for them to measure our property we would have to leave a deposit. Normally we know that people would come out and measure without it, but we were serious and they sold us on their quality work. When the installer came out he suggested to us that we do not need to change our current floors. We called them to immediately cancel and we were told that it would not be a problem but to call back on Monday. We followed up on the Monday and then we were told that we cannot cancel because the carpet was already ordered. Fortunately we did not finalize on a color so they couldn’t order the carpet. We called them on our bluff, and after a fight for a couple days they told us they will refund us less an administration fee.
Be wary, do not leave them a deposit without them first coming to measure.
We do thank the installer for his honesty.

We decided to checkout this store after shopping at Elte around the corner. This place has the WORST customer service ever! The salesperson was rude from the start and told me to my face that I was «wasting his time»! His attitude was shocking. We do not have much experience with carpet installation and were trying to understand how the ‘package’ works (ie material, labour, etc). Instead we got a lecture from this arrogant sob who proceeded to tell us to go to Scarborough and buy our own carpet instead of, again, wasting his time. The craziest part was the store was completely empty and there were no other customers at all! We left, naturally, thoroughly disgusted with the way we had been treated simply because we asked a few too many questions for the salespersons liking.
The story doesn’t even end there as this man actually came out of his shop to tell us that he drives a $ 100,000 car and wears a $ 15 000 watch so he didnt need our business. Real classy. No wonder the place was empty!
Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else. There are tons of rug and carpet shops in the area that treat potential customers with respect instead of chasing them out the door with rude comments. We did just that and purchased a beautiful carpet from courteous and very helpful salespeople at a shop nearby.
