I love this market. I live down the street, so it’s very convenient for me. They have loads of produce and grocery staples (bread, milk, eggs, etc.), and it’s usually cheaper than the big name grocery stores. The only think I’ve found so far is that in the winter, their produce is obviously not top notch. They won’t throw away fruit that’s slightly bruised or carrots that have got a little soft, but that’s probably because it’s much harder to get fresh stuff in the winter. Their lots of apples are huge, so you can always find a few good ones if you take a minute. The staff is always very friendly and helpful.

Ridiculously cheap neighborhood convenience and grocery store. I’ve bought enough fresh food for two days for two people for $ 12 (and that includes sauces). Considering it’s small size, it’s incredible how much selection they have in fresh produce. Since my friend moved there, he hasn’t gone to the grocery store once since he gets pretty much everything from here.
It’s amazing how they stock all sorts of ethic food (especially Chinese food).
Oh, and their eggs are cheaper than the nearest Loblaws’s.
