I had been to Minute Muffler on St. Clair a few times for various things (a new fan, oil changes, tires). I had kept going back because it was convenient as the work was NOT stellar.
The last time I went in the manager spoke to me like a child and not like an adult customer paying him money to do a job. It felt very much like a stereotypical experience of a woman customer at a male dominate car garage being treated like an idiot because of her gender.
This incident happened weeks ago, but I still find myself upset by it and thought I should fair-​warn other women looking for a respectable garage that this one is not it. There are lot of other options in the area and I will be trying those.

Our Camry blew a head gasket. Frido the mechanic-​owner replaced the motor. Did a good job at a fair price. My impression is that he’s an honest mechanic.

These guys were rude and had no time to give a customer complete information on how much a job would cost. Avoid at all costs and go to a muffler shop that will respect their client more and not try to overcharge !
