From the street level, you see a nice café that sells coffee and baked goods. Hidden below is a charming modern dine-in space with an exclusive view of their bakery, where you can see and smell them baking loaves after loaves. For reasons that are Eastern Europe, the service was slow, required micromanagement, and definitely not for the impatient. I’ve decided to not rate places based on service unless they scream in my face or spit in my food. We had a huge group, the only group, for a late lunch. It was more like tea time, but scrumptious. We ordered an assortment of beverages, sandwiches, and sides, and they were good. I had a baguette sandwich, and it didn’t disappoint. It was quite large(I could only finish 2⁄3 of it), and the ingredients were fresh and tasty. The fries came with different aioli and were also delicious. While the espresso was so-so, but their sodas grabbed everyone’s attention. There are a few different flavours so be sure to try them all. I bet this is a solid place to grab baked goods as well, as they have a bunch of customers throughout. It’s definitely a neat little place.
