Nordsee

Stopped in here for a quick lunch when I was at the Palladium. It’s a cafeteria-​style restaurant and you tell them what you’d like as you go down the line.
I had salmon with rice and steamed veggies as my sides. I also had a Pilsner Urquel and the total price was about 280 CZK.
Once you have your food you can take any table and do a little people watching while you eat. When you are done bus your own table and slide your tray into the slotted shelves on the far wall.

Really enjoyed how fresh the food all were and how friendly the staff was. This shop also accepts credit cards — major plus for travelers!
Ordered a smoked salmon salad with cheese, a small potato salad, different colored bell peppers. Pesto sauce and greens for 179 crowns (roughly 6 bucks) in a fried tortilla shell. Pretty decent size and generous portions of smoked salad and fresh. My onto concern was the fried tortilla shell they used which had been already fried and set in the cooler for some time so the tortilla was somewhat soggy. Still pretty tasty of a dish regardless.
They also had set combos or buy by weight hot and already cooked seafood like salmon and fish with an arrangement of cooked vegetables so you ll be sure to find the hot or cold meal for you!

Ordered grilled cod with mushrooms (treska na grilu se zampiony). I was impressed with this meal coming from a casual dining mall restaurant. Portion were rather large and filing. I’ll definitely come back but I’ll try something new for variety. It’s was a far better option than the fast food crap in the other part of the mall.

Die ‘Nordsee’ in einem der größten Prager Einkaufszentren mit über 200 Läden unterscheidet sich eigentlich nicht von den unzähligen anderen Versionen, die man bisher schon in den verschiedensten Städten kennengelernt hat.
Es sind jetzt auch nicht gerade die Fischdelikatessen, die einem hierhin verleiten, sondern schlicht und einfach die Tatsache, dass einem vom vielen Herumlaufen die Füße weh tun und man eine Erfrischung vertragen kann.
Man sitzt auf der obersten Gallerie des sehr modernen Einkaufszentrum und kann bequem dem Treiben zusehen. Auf dem gleichen Stockwerk gibt es auch noch ein libanesisches und ein indisches Restaurant, einen Japaner mit Sushi vom Band, die alle recht gut aufgemacht sind.
