Delicious hotdogs and champagne. Count me in and count me in now! Only downside is that it takes approximately 5 minutes to eat one of these bad boys and then you have to get another and another and another, which means you’ll have to take a loan the next day. Prices are steep! But the more champagne you’ll drink, the less you’ll notice.

Really delicious gourmet hot dogs and corn dogs at a steep price, as is true everywhere in Denmark I suppose.(160Kr for a hot dog, corn dog starter and a small glass of cava.) Definitely worth a visit, especially with friends to share. Love the idea of champagne and hot dogs!

Love. Creative hot dogs, amazing French fries with aoli, great cocktails, relaxed/chill vibe. There are even dog options for the non-meat eaters– dogs made of falafel and fish!

Once you get over the gimmicky theme of mixing hotdogs with Champagne and cocktails and get down to business; these are some good dogs. This reviewer particularly liked the Wild Boar with Pumpkin Chutney! But if you’re a purist; you’ll be missing the tube remoulade, crispy onions, machine pickled cucumber and red-skinned cylindrical assortment of pigmeat that is the Danish hotdog!

If you are in Copenhagen you should be eating hot dogs. Lots of hot dogs. And if you are looking to satisfy your tube meat cravings and wash it down with something a little better than your average swill Foderbraettet DK is the place for you. The vibe is definitely hip and young, they were setting up a DJ around 830PM. The bartenders were all bearded and tattooed. They were helpful, and provided us many suggestions about where to go and what to do with the rest of our evening. He even gave us little samples of one of the featured cocktails. We sampled the Infected Mushroom hot dog and it tasted as good as it looked. We were tempted by the Fried Chicken«hot dog» which is really just fried chicken in a bun. It wasn’t bad but stick to the actual sausages here. We also liked the Corn Dogs, but the chorizo corn salad just wasn’t out thing. Foderbraettet is definitely worth a stop if you are in Copenhagen, come early for a light meal or swing by later if you are looking for a party.

The main reason you should visit: French fries with aioli. They are chunky, soft and crispy at the same time! Also, they have hot dogs! Drinks were delicious, and during happy hour you get two for the price of one. A good time in cool surroundings!

We had a seriously great night at Foderbrættet! The fries were good, the beer was cold and the hot dogs were the best I have ever had! I had three hot-dogs, one Italian Stallion, one Infected Mushrooms and one Pig-me-up. I can really recommend the Infected Mushrooms, but all of them were incredible. I am going back tomorrow!

Living in Denmark as an expat can come with some challenges, especially around food(stegt flæsk? Just no!), but hot dogs are one of the Danish classics I’ve had no problem adapting to. And when I saw the concept of this place, gourmet hot dogs and champagne, I was instantly hooked! Boyfriend it tow(who wasn’t very hard to convince, unsurprisingly), I headed to Vesterbro to try it all out. We got the mini corndogs as a shared starter — I could probably have eaten three portions of those on my own! They were absolutely delicious! We followed with a mix of their hot dogs — the classic one with remoulade and onions, the Mexican-inspired one with a chili-spiced sausage, avocado cream, and a tomato salsa, and the BBQ one with coleslaw. They were all beautifully arranged and the taste matched — they were all very, very good. Apparently, the Mexican one was supposed to have grilled bananas in/on there somewhere, but we couldn’t really find them. For dessert, we shared their churros, which came with a delicious scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream and a strawberry and mango sauce. Of course I had some bubbles, too: a glass of cava and a glass of champagne. The cava was okay, but nothing extraordinary. The champagne was very nice, but was unfortunately not really chilled. The place has a typical Vesterbro feel, industrial, rustic, raw, but also very cool. It seems to be quite popular, so I’d recommend a reservation(two walk-ins were turned down as we were waiting for our table).

Gourmet hot dogs my a. I had way better from trailers outside football stadiums and the were twice the size — half the price! How can a hot dog be smaller than my thumb? We were a group of four and got a pitcher of Sangria from the«limited edition» menu(it’s week’s or month’s special) and the combination of all their four starters. All four if us took different hot dogs. 1. They were out of red wine, so the waiter came back, apologised and suggested an alternative pitcher and shots on the house. Very good so far(exept organisation; it’s Saturday night, be prepared; and the shots of Fernet Branca… ouch). 2. The starters were deep fried onion rings, deep fried«corn dogs»(no sausage inside?), deep fried okras with some kind coating and deep fried potatoes with a mincy sauce on top. All of them tasted like oil. It’s been 12 hours and my stomach, and also my girlfriend’s, still burn! 3. What they call hot dogs was a disaster. Bread was too sweet, filing was only in the middle to give some height on the dishes, the kimchi was not kimchi, and in the lamp hot dog with bbq sauce… I tasted no bbq sauce. 4. The pitchers are 60% ice cubes or more, but at least that was what tasted better than anything. On the other hand, the atmosphere was fantastic, the staff very helpful and the interior quite nice. That’s only why there’s a second star. I wouldn’t mind going back for cocktails there. But for eating? No way. It’s an overpriced nothing(56kr for«hot dogs» and 175kr for the four soaking in oil snacks).

The idea of taking something as awesome as hotdogs and making them even better and more sophisticated is brilliant. And when combined with a great beer or champagne, it’s definitely a great experience. The best one I had was the beef hotdog with coriander. The lamb one was a little more spicy but very good, too. I understood that the pig hotdog with onions was somewhat ordinary. The menu is short and simple, so your entire party needs to be up for hotdogs. With a bit broader menu(well executed, of course), this could get the fifth Unilocal star. Service was helpful, friendly, and attentive. Prices as you would expect expensive but not unreasonable. Atmosphere is cozy, rather quiet, and relaxed.

Anyone who has been to Po Dog in Seattle or Rudy’s in New York understands the value of having some hotdogs to munch on while consuming adult beverages. Add in bubbles like Londontown’s Bubbledog concept, and we have a winner, because really, who doesn’t like sparkles with their wieners? Admittedly I was a little curious about the concept upon first suggestion, because when you say pølser to me, I immediately think of the pølser stands littering CPH; the places you frequent most often after 4am when there are no other options in site and you are starving. Good news though, friends! I didn’t see a single thing come out of the kitchen that looked like a pølser stand replica. I had merguez(my favorite French BBQ sausage made of lamb and spices) and my dinner date had tempura cod, which looked kind of like fish ‘n chips in a hot dog bun with kimchi on top. #winning? #yesithinkso My personal favorite part of the meal were the lollipop corndogs though, for which I give an extra star. I mean, because CORNDOGSYOUGUYZ. Why aren’t corndogs a thing in Copenhagen yet? *le sigh* Maybe they will be now that Foderbrættet is in business. I shall remain hopeful. Pro-tip: definitely have bubbles with your dogs, but also definitely try one of their delicious cocktails.

I was very excited to try this new concept… hot dogs and champagne! What could be better? It was good I made a reservation because they were packed. I must say, don’t go in here super hungry because it will cost a small fortune to get full, but it’s really yummy. The idea is small hot dogs, but they are about 55 kr each. I tried the beef hot dog and then the ”fish hot dog”. I must admit the fish one is better. The onion rings are super yummy and light. Not over battered at all. I also recommend the cornj side dish which had this yummy cream and chilies on top. But I must say their cocktails are amazing. I had the Old Cuban and Delicious Sour. I seriously would just come back here for their onion rings and cocktails. My only regret is that I didn’t try the corn dogs, but there is always next time.
