The hotel’s best feature is its proximity to central station in Copenhagen. If you’re going for leisure, it’s perfect — under 20 minutes train ride from CPH, about two blocks to Tivoli Gardens, about a third of a mile to City Hall Plaza and the main tourist shopping street.
The hotel’s facilities are pretty sparse, but the staff is friendly and there’s a daily happy hour with free wine.
I’d definitely consider staying at the Hotel Astoria for my next visit. It’s definitely a budget hotel, but it’s perfect for tourists looking for an affordable option.
