McJoy’s Choice

Very disappointed services. the menu looks great so we sat down on a seat in the outside seating area in a corner. the server didn’t attend to us at all after he took our order. and then I sat there spending 40 mins waiting for the entrée to come. the server argued that it’s because I haven’t finished the starter. But nobody came to ask me at all if I’ve finished in the first half an hour or so. In general the food was okay but the service is not pleasant.

a great Irish bar right down the street from our hotel — outstanding selection of whiskies (and they are not shy in either giving a taste or pouring !) Good bar food as well. Great place to watch the time go by.

Cute little pub with a friendly bartender. They interestingly had a student discount on a few types of beers, which was a nice discovery. I was in here very late and it was nearly empty, but was a great place to warm up, grab a drink, and relax before heading home for the night.
