Naturpoteket is an easy and central landmark for those of us searching for alternative foods. If gluten-​free is your thing, they have all the alternative flours you could ever hope for. If you’re low-​carb, they sell almond and coconut flours (plus alternatives to sugar like rapadura and stevia). If you’re into traditional foods, they sell kefir. If you like to drink big glasses of aloe vera (I really don’t get this, but whatevs), they sell that here too. The only thing I’m missing in my life is kombucha, which, so far as I can tell, is not sold anywhere in Copenhagen. :/​
They also carry a ton of different kinds of herbs, extracts, and supplements. The ladies behind the desk are very knowledgeable, if you aren’t totally sure what you need. Naturpoteket in the city center is slightly larger, and has more variety, if you’re looking for more selection.
