The interior could use some more warmth, the food was above average. Service is good. Chilled beer glasses always a huge plus for me all in all I definitely recommend this burger restaurant. Strongly recommend the avocado(I love avocado) fries.

My ‘hood has a new burger place(will the Copenhagen upscale burger market ever be saturated? Doesn’t seem so!), and we decided to try it out. They’ve had some starting problems with their take away, leading them to discontinue it for a while, so it’s only now that they’ve opened it back up again that we’re trying them out(we have a new baby, so take out is preferable to dining in). The menu is varied, but only to the extent that you have a selection of burgers to choose from. If you don’t want burgers, you’ve come to the wrong place. But fair enough, they do warn you in the name of the restaurant. It would be kind of like going to Kentucky Fried Chicken if you don’t like chicken. Their choices are burgers such as The Original with cheddar and bacon, The Almighty with double cheddar, extra large patty, and a fried egg. They have a choice of side orders, and also a chicken and veggie burger. My wife went for The Original with their standard fries. I tried The Popular, which comes with double cheddar and avocado. They have curly fries(yay!) so that was my choice. Prices are reasonable, and service was pretty fast. The construction of the burger was pretty good. Yes, construction matter when you’re attempting to eat a food item consisting of several layers of varying size and shape, all while holding it in your hand. They’ve caught on to the fact that the salad belongs underneath the patty, protecting the bottom bun from getting all soggy. Points for that. The mixture of contents and condiments was good, and the patty had a good texture. Unfortunately it lacked a bit of flavour. Like they forgot to season it, or just didn’t season it enough. Curly fries were good, a bit more spiciness would have been better. But their aioli is excellent, lots of garlic punch to that one. All in all a pretty good burger place, without being extraordinary. Doesn’t quite live up to the hype. But with the current appetite for burgers in Copenhagen, I’m sure they’ll do well.

I was not sure what to make of the place from the outside, so decided to give the restaurant a go. Thank God for that! I waited to be seated, got the menu and a form to enter my order on. I went with a chicken burger, tomato salad and onion rings along with homemade ketchup. I will definitely be coming back — the tomato salad alone could make me come again, the chicken burger was very tender and on the desired dark bun, and the homemade ketchup was(gasp! Imagine that) made of real tomatoes. Heinz could learn how to make a great, if somewhat liquid, ketchup from these people. To top it off the waitresses were very attentive, but not pushy. Well done guys, keep it up!
