It’s RizRaz, it’s a Copenhagen vegetarian staple. In all the years I’ve been coming here for an all you can eat vegetarian buffet, it has never once disappointed in the slightest. The food is always fresh and well stocked with an excellent selection of dips and salads(and pasta and potato salads too, not just a cop out bunch of lettuce leaves) and the warm food is always well cooked and flavourful, usually it’s falafels, lasagne, potato wedges and roasted root veges. Vegan and gluten free options are also clearly labelled. Service is always top notch. On my most recent visit all of their card machines were down, so my friend and I were given free drinks while we waited for that to be sorted. Highly recommended for a filling meal at a good price.

It’s a lovely restaurant serving healthy and tasty vegetarian food with a reasonable price! Compared to other meals in Copenhagen, it’s a great choice to have lunch with only 89 Dkk. There are also pizza and falafel, which are nice as well.

Hearty vegetable buffet dishes good for the winter months. Also, as an American there on business, I found it much more economical than many of the places in the Latin Quarter, Slotsholmen, and the city center

came here on a Saturday night and just wanted two beers and a couple of appetizers — the waitress recommended the mussels WHICHWEREPHENOMENAL — so plump and the broth was outstanding! We also go the calamari — which was very good too.

I always stop by RizRaz whenever I’m in Copenhagen. And for all those years the vegetarian/vegan buffet they offer has never disappointed. I’m not a buffet-lover in general but this food is so fresh, flavourful and varied with both cold and warm dishes. The small breads are really lovely too. The cold dishes includes fresh vegetables(yay for grated carrots!) but also hummus(wonderful), tzatziki and other sauces plus pasta and potato salads, creamy beetroots etc. The warm dishes are usually falafel(well-made), lasagna, grilled potato and pizza slices. The eat-all-you-want-price is very reasonable and the outdoor seating is highly recommended on warm evenings. Before the smoking ban it was quite awful to sit inside eating, very non-enjoyable. But that’s of course not an issue anymore — enjoy!

Went with a couple of people, two of who had been here before. It was getting to be later in the evening, and the temperature drops significantly at night. Two of us wanted to eat inside, but the other two wanted to eat outside. While we rolled our eyes at this, immediately we were so happy because they have blankets on the backs of their chairs! THEYKNOWITISCOLDANDTOURISTSDON’T GETIT. Thank goodness for that. Apparently, they grill outside and you can go up and get meat if you want, however, they did not do that this night. It might be a weekend thing. The menu is still under works, so they offered a modified one. It offered 5 or 6 appetizer selections, a couple of burger options, 6 or 7 main dish options of meat or seafood, sides, and desserts. The back of the menu had drink options. I ordered the beef tenderloin(medium) and my friend ordered the Norwegian salmon. She stated the salmon was one of the best tasting things she has ever tried. I didn’t get a chance to try it as she had devoured it in seconds. They served it with a lemon and a small pile of salt which she did not use. I was very happy with my beef tenderloin which also had a small pile of salt on the side. All four of us got the salad bar as sides are not offered with the main dishes unless you order it. The salad bar is well stocked and not a traditional green salad like you get in the states. Many different things were offered, including delicious small rosemary potatoes, a broccoli salad, pasta, hummus, bread, and other various casseroles and variations of salads. My friend got Tiramisu for dessert and the rest of us ordered the Crème Burlee. We were also not disappointed with our choices. I really enjoyed the crème burlee. I would come back again for sure.

I went several times with friends because it is really handy, right in the centre, but I cannot recommend. If you order steak you pay way too much for what you get and the buffet is not that good/diversified.

This may be the best value restaurant in expensive Copenhagen. We all had the vegetarian dinner buffet — twice. Discounted for kids, which really helps. Tasty and healthy. Very nice outdoor courtyard. Recommended.

Excellent salad bar! We found Riz Raz during the Jazz Festival and needed a shady spot for lunch. The falafel, salad selections and elderberry lemonade were delicious!

Nice, cozy place to come for a relaxing lunch. Ordered the BBQ burger which was great except the globbed a ton of butter on the bun. Served with a generous sized bucket of tasty fries. The meat was nicely cooked. They also have a Mediterranean inspired buffet with salads, hummus, falafel, pizzas and pastas. Everything was very good, except the pizza. Service was extremely nice and courteous and prices are not so bad. A good lunch option.

As all grocery shops were closed and we were not prepared for it, we had to look for something affordable to eat dinner. We came across RizRaz and had the buffet for 99DKK each. The buffet is vegetarian but you can pay to get some meat with it. The food was fine and served its purpose of filling us up.

Tried their lunch buffet. RizRaz offers mediterainian food and it’s definitely delicious. Pizza slices was a bit dry but rest of the buffet was freshman and well prepared. Lots of olive oil and veggies. However RizRaz looses a star for service, first the waiter forgot my drink and next I had to wait 15 min to pay because the waiter left the building.

It used to be a GREAT vegetarian buffet for 99:-. The veggie buffet is still there, and it’s still great, but they just added some steak and salmon and upped the price to 159:-. Still kind of worth it, but not as good a deal anymore.

The good: great buffet with some really tasty options. Falafels were great, pizza too, sallads and the hummus and other sauces as well. Friendly staff. The less good: quite a lot of meat in the buffet for some reason? Upstairs kind of loud and crowded. Not really a problem, just not a small cozy place. Great place for a Copenhagen lunch!

If you want an OK quality vegetarian buffet and also some meat side dishes this is a good place to go if your budget does not allow luxury. Friendly staff and quick service and a central location makes it easy to go around copenhagen City Central

«Quite OK» is probably the accurate way to describe how I feel about Riz Raz. Food is OK and price is OK. Nothing exciting, but I left full and had no bad impressions. I came for the veggie buffet. There’s a hot selection(of which the falafel and okra were the most flavourful and the lasagna and pasta were a bit mushy), and a cold selection(slaw, beats, the usual salad options). I don’t know that I’m eager to come back, but it’s nice to know there’s an affordable and healthy option available in that part of town.

Being a vegetarian I’m just a sucker for a good sallad buffet, getting to choose what to put on your plate without being controlled by a menu is a good thing. Riz Raz had basically won me over upon entering, seeing the different types of salads, falafel, hummus plus much more. They have two floors with plenty of space but the actual buffet area on the bottom floor was a bit cramped for space when people were standing in line. With a good selection of salad, sauces and also warm food like the above mentioned falafel and meat(which I didn’t try) plus what seemed to be a locally brewed beer you can’t go wrong. They also had desserts in the form of jam and whipped cream, plus a(dry) chocolate cake. Good thing I’m more into food than dessert I guess. The sound level was quite loud upstairs. As I understood it they had different types of buffets depending on if you are there during the morning or afternoon. This was during the afternoon buffet. Prices were also good for being Copenhagen. All in all, recommended!

In a town where everything, especially food, is expensive if you’re an American tourist, Riz Raz’s all-you-can eat buffet for just 79DKK(just under $ 15, though who knows what exchange rates will be like) for lunch is a wonderful deal(sandwiches pretty cost that much in Copenhagen). My family just went for the buffet so I can’t speak to any of the meat dishes, but all of us really enjoyed the buffet. There are fresh vegetables, lots of noodles and pasta, great falafel, delicious hummus and other dips, and salad. The eggplant lasagna and falafel were particularly stand-out. I would avoid the pizza: it was soggy and bland. This great-value buffet filled us up and I would highly recommend it for lunch. Also, just so you’re prepared for it, tap water costs extra(also standard in Copenhagen)!

Komme gern wieder.
