Food here was absolutely amazing! I ordered the fried shrimp dish(ebi hapser). I ordered a few different sticks 2 beef. 2 chicken and 2 scallop. The scallops wrapped in bacon and the chicken meatballs were my favorite. The miso soup was also delicious. I ordered 2 rolls(spicy tuna and a shrimp tempura roll) not what I’m used to but I was not disappointed.

So amazing! The restaurant look was gorgeous, and I’m partial to black being its my favorite color. But you felt like you were fine dining where as most sushi places over clutter their dining room with oriental nic-nacs. This exterior was classy, and the view was stunning. The staff were all so friendly, helpful and nothing took long at all. The menu — if who ever designed this ever reads Unilocal THANKYOU! The food photography, layout, and over all concept for the menu were visually refreshing. As a designer i loved it. Lastly the food, Appetizers were delicious Sushi was fresh, beautiful served, and the added garnishes like seeds were creative and delicious. Dessert was perfectly portioned. Over all amazing experience, if you’re ever in Copenhagen and love sushi definitely worth it!

In Copenhagen for the week and had our first meal out last night here — we ordered a set menu and a selection of starters and it was hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had! The squid was particularly brilliant as was the sticks(the tuna being a favourite) — as full as we were we also of course managed to save room for dessert — we went for the Dark selection and my WORD the chocolate salt caramel and peppermint was amazing!

Enjoyed Danish sushi, pleasant artful presentation. Not a traditional Japanese sushi, but it is kind of sushi of Gari NYC like arranged creative chef sushi if you ask me. With nice attentive waiter and waitress with nice view of 12th floor Copenhagen city sky view… Very nice spot. Enjoyed a lot, thanks!

great place for a romantic night. It is also a very good option for a family quality time. The sushi is delicious and the service is very nice. The restaurant is not located in the city center but it only takes 5 minutes by bike from Tivoli Gardens. Once in the restaurant, it has amazing views to Copenhagen skyline :-)

We didn’t have a reservation but they were able to accommodate us. Enjoyed the sushi options as well as the yakitori, the sauces were very flavorful. try and spend some time on the swings, great views and a nice way to enjoy cocktails.

Summary: The best location of this chain restaurant. Good food with a beautiful view and atmosphere. A+ Staff Atmosphere: This is on the top of Tivoli and boasts some of the best views. The Vibe is trendy, though the clientele draws a much larger variety of people. You could come dressed up or down. I have done both. Service: These guys were great. I arrived without a reservation. The wait was very brief and I was given a little buzzer and sat down on the swings that overlook an amazing top floor view. The swings are cool. You got to check that out if you’re just a tourist in town. The bar staff were really cool. I was working while eating and I could tell they were making effort to have me smile. Nice people. Food: Delightful. The sushi is fresh. They could work a little on the cutting, as I think they just«cut it’ versus really understanding how to fully optimize the cut for the texture of the fish. However, the creativity with rice is worth checking this place out. I would try to bring a group that likes to share. Really everything is quite lovely to try out.

Let’s get one thing straight. This place is not your authentic Japanese sushi place. However, the offerings are diverse and fresh. There’s also a good selection of drinks. One of the best features of this restaurant is the excellent views of the city and Sydhavnen. It is worth a visit for a quick sushi fix or if you want an upscale place to hang out. There are opportunities for improvement. Service, while not bad, is not outstanding either. Servers could be more attentive and could be more educated by the offerings in the menu. The cocktails could also use some improvement in taste and quality and not necessary on the number of options. Finally, the cooked food items could be more seasoned and better quality wasabi and pickled ginger could be served with the sushi. Again, it is not a bad place to eat but don’t expect anything spectacular.

Unbedingt Tisch vorab reservieren!

In my opinion, this is pretty much the best sushi you can get in Copenhagen. It’s a bit on the pricey side(surprise!) but it’s worth splurging on every once in a while. The location on top of the Tivoli hotel is part of the charme, and when you’re done with sushi, be sure to head on over to the swing set and enjoy one of their cocktails — they are pretty amazing, too. This is a favorite place of mine to bring visitors due to the quality food and drinks and the great atmosphere.

Food and cocktails we’re top notch. But my favorite part was the waitress who was a gem. I was a first time visitor to Copenhagen and she recommended other restaurants and cocktail bars that we’re all fantastic.

It was okay. I’m sure for Copenhagen this is a huge, wonderful step in the right direction for sushi, but the drinks, the service and experience were all a bit underwhelming. The sushi and skewers were delicious, but not what I’ll remember most of the food scene here in CPH.

A definite five star restaurant! Great view, the food was amazing, even beyond expectations and the service was fast. Loved the interior! Wow! I had heard about this restaurant and it was on my «to visit» list. Yesterday we went there and had the most amazing sushi dinner I have ever had. We had a salad with salmon, crab, avocado and other things which was delicious! The portion was quite large too. Then we had three different kinds of sushi which were all very well made and fresh. And we also had two sticks of beef. Everything was just great! We couldn’t stop eating! The service was friendly and they were always coming to ask if we needed something. They brought also warm towels to begin with to clean our hands. They did few small mistakes service wise like forgetting the towels on the table during the whole meal, not bringing any napkins and asking if we want desert but in the end not bringing the menu for us to see. But they were so friendly that I consider that minor details. The interior was great and quite simple. Black chairs and tables. On the other side of the restaurant there were swings where one could enjoy a cocktail and look at the view. Also there was a shoe free area were you have holes on the floor for the legs and the table is very low. So you have to climb in to the table in a way. For smokers they have a large balcony with heating lamps and couches. Generally a great experience, great food, nice views, good service and nice interior! Definitely recommend this to everyone.

You’ve propably experienced the same as I have — you are seated in a great restaurant but somehow things does not live up to expectations. This time it was different! Went there early to have time for a glass in the Sky Bar — the one with the swings(sounds fascinating? Need to go there to see for yourself) and a beautiful view to Copenhagen habour. My wife and I agreed on a botlle of Cava and my kids were served some virgin(no alcohol) drinks. Sat there half an hour or so and were then escorted to the restaurant — we were a bit surprised when we were shown to an area with no real chairs. We were asked to take our shoes off before being showed to our table that had the most perfect view. We were sitting with our backs to the restaurant and had a 180 degree view of the habour — under the table they had created room for our legs so we sat on «the floor» — japanese style — and had our sushi served by a young and professional waiter. We got three servings and enjoyed every bite of it — this will not be the last time we eat there.

This place is super popping. I ended up choosing this Sticks n Sushi, which is located on the 12th floor of the Tivoli Hotel because it was the closest one to me, but it’s very much a very hip and trendy place with beautiful views of Copenhagen. I came around 8pm and the place was packed. Luckily I was dining alone so they were able to give me a seat at the bar where I got to chat with the«coach» or the manager I think? She was really cool though and fun to chat with while she worked. I really enjoyed the ambience of the place and could definitely see myself hanging out with friends here if I lived in Copenhagen. I ordered the small chaos which was indeed small. The picture made it look a lot bigger, but it was basically just lots of avocado and four slices of salmon with some fish roe on top of rice; it was basically just a tiny chirashi bowl but of excellent quality I have to say. It was really delicious though, but I wished I had ordered something else because I was satisfied but not full. Service was also super quick – I was in and out in less than an hour even though the place was packed. tldr; great quality food and this location affords you fantastic views of Copenhagen; would highly recommend!

This must be my absolutely favourite place to enjoy a nice evening with great food, friends and my beautiful city. The restaurant is placed on the 12. floor of the tivoli hotel and has the most breathtaking view of the city. In summer time it is possible to use their terrace, which is soooooo THE thing to try! The sushi is of high quality and there is so much delicious stuff to choose from. Even though the food might be the reason to go there, you should not miss out on enjoy a wonderful cocktail on the swings of the bar area. If you are a Sushi-lover, this is a must go place! You will enter and leave with a wow factor. Normally the restaurant is always full, so it would be a good idea to book a table a week or so before hand.

On my first night in Denmark, I was looking for somewhere fabulous to eat dinner and see the sights. After searching on Unilocal I found this place and made the short walk to the tivoli where it is located. It’s on the 12th floor of the hotel which provides for great views Upon entering I was greeted by the hostess and she hung up my coat an scarf for me, a nice touch to begin with. I immediately fell in love with the décor here. So chic and well designed. A few minutes later I was seated and presented with a menu and an explanation of all the different choices to order from. Everyone spoke English very well and were helpful. After many minutes(perhaps a few too many) the server returned to take my order. Perhaps this is just the culture of the country to take a while to order, but it was ok with me anyway I started with an asahi large Japanese light beer per the servers recommendation. For my meal I had the black Alaska roll with salmon and avocado and an order of spicy pork lettuce wraps. Let me just say the food was phenomenal. This was the best sushi I’ve ever had, normally I prefer to order a cooked type of roll, but this one was so fresh, pure and flavorful that it was knock my socks off good. The pork wrap was so unique, great flavor and top notch ingredients used With all that being said it was pricey, but with the quality of the food and the view of the city it was worth it. Copenhagen is an expensive place to begin with, so this restaurant is typical of prices for nice restaurants around the area. No matter what, I recommend all sushi lovers come here! It really is foodie heaven.
