these places are popping up all over now and i’m so happy about it! though i am normally not one to hang out in malls, we happened to be at fisketorvet and my friends raved about the weird drink with the chewy things inside that they’d tried for the first time here. i don’t know why, but i was a bit skeptical at first. maybe because it was in a mall, maybe because of the ridiculously punny drink names(accessibilitea? ay papaya??). anyway it was very good. though they don’t offer the typical asian flavours of taro and coconut, they DO have milk and fruit-based tea. the thing that makes this place stand out among the others is not the weird basil seeds that look like frog eggs, but that the bubble tea tastes very much of TEA. i got ‘drink me aloe’ with regular tapioca, as i’m not a fan of the popping bubbles. it was very pleasant, with the aloe bits supplying extra chewiness among the tapioca. the cherry on top was the sweet girl making the drinks. she was very nice and friendly. i’ll come back when i’m in the area!
