My first experience with Studenterhuset was when I was invited here by a friend to try their free Swing dance lessons. I had no idea what to expect, but ended up having such a great time. Their Swing dance lessons are held in the front of the house, which felt a bit intimating with anyone not joining & just having drinks staring at you, but you quickly forget about anyone else around you. The teachers were great and the thing that I thought was neat was that they had you switch partners(you can stand in the back and not do this), so ideally you could show up alone and still get to experience the class and meet people at the same time. Definitely highly recommend trying the class. I mean, it’s free, plus you can meet people and it’s just pure fun :) Other then the class, they hold other events, which I have not attended before. But you can always see what they have available on their website or facebook page. It’s also a great place to study and relax with friends with a drink. They do have student discounts, but only for students who attend Københavns Universitet. Which is why i’m taking 1 star away from them. I really wish they’d offer discounts to all students and not only one school.

Good for cheap coffee and beer. It’s a typical student get together place where you can get discounts with a student ID. Some nights they have also swing dancing which can be a lot of fun. They organise a lot of events like Halloween parties, lectures from various people, concerts, board game nights and much more. Just check their homepage and you will find it all. They also have a Facebook to join. The place is quite cosy and on those events it’s very packed. Generally the bartenders are also students and are very friendly. There is plenty of seating areas and upstairs there are some rooms that are good for studying in the daytime. I have spent few nights at the studenterhuset and have nice memories from there. It’s not really a place to get drunk, it’s quite calm and the feeling the place gives you is warm and welcoming. As said, it’s perfect for student meet ups.

Studenterhuset was always a great place to grab a cup of coffee – kaffe latte, tak! And the apple cake? Yes. This place could have some really cool events, too. And you can’t beat the discount as a student – on drinks, food and events! It had a lot of internationals and Danes around all the time. Plus, I used to volunteer there! :) Great spot!

Great place to study, read, and chat during the day. Pros: — With student ID, cheaper drinks compared to the surrounding area Chai Latte is 22DKK Beer of the week is 2 for 40DKK — mostly Tuborg — A lot of international students — Tuesday night swing dancing — get there by 7:30, that’s when they start teaching you how to swing dance — Free wifi! PW: StudentKBH — Live DJ almost every night(depending on the event, the DJ differs aka music differs) — Quiet room upstairs — really nice when you want to be in the area but have to study Cons: — A lot of international students, but there are also Danes there! — Pastries and drinks aren’t that amazing It’s non-profit so everyone working there are volunteers

An OK place with reasonable priced drinks. Weird live music sometimes. Happy hour = two draft beer 35 kr. It’s very international and I like that. A lot of international students and English speaking bartenders. The restrooms are disgusting. No clear mark which are men’s and which are ladies. It stinks, there’s pee on the floor and no more soap. Only student discount to KU students = Bah. Wtf?! It’s called the student house not the KU house!

Apparently this is the place to go for discounted coffee and pastries. I came here to get my free pastry from my «amazing race«day at DIS. The pastries are like no other, so different from America. The bread was crusty and flaky and crispy. The filling wasn’t overly sweet like the ones in america. The atmosphere feels kind of grungey hipster like. It’s a good college vibe.
