Café Analog is placed inside ITU — The IT University. Enter through the main entrance, walk straight ahead and you’ll find Analog on your right when you have passed the reception. Analog is a cozy place with good coffee at affordable prices. If you are not a student there’s no wifi. They have eduroam wifi for students. Regular coffee is 5 kr while the espresso-based drinks are around 20 kr. They don’t offer any food/sweets.

Café Analog is located inside the beautiful IT University. Studying and working here, this café is one of my personal favorites. It is student driven and non-profit so when I tell you that the coffee is cheap, it really is as cheap as it gets. 5 kr. for a cup of black coffee. Even when no one is behind the counter you can still self-serve your way to a cheap cup of coffee, if you’re the lucky owner of a loyalty«clip card». The atmosphere is always laid back and I usually love to take my afternoon meetings down to Analog if I want them to be less formal.

Located inside IT University of Copenhagen, this little gem serves amazing coffee(Kontra, the best in Denmark, and now Blue River from Italy) at quite probably the most reasonable price in all of Copenhagen. This is because it is a non-profit run by ITU students. I am also in love with the website for it’s quirky humor: , which was created by a volunteer at Analog and shows if the café is open or not. While it’s not accessible all the time, it would great for nearby work places(cough, DR looking at you) and the students. Being located inside ITU does limit the kind of visitors, though. MENU: Small cup coffee: 4kr Cup of any organic tea: 5kr, varieties include Café latte: 20kr, biggest bang for buck(2 espresso shots + steamed milk) Dirty latte(chai + regular latte): 35kr chai latte: 17kr?(David Rio Chai powder + steamed milk) Espresso: 10/15kr(single/double) Cortado: 15kr(about equal parts espresso + steamed milk) Americano: 15kr(3:1 ratio of hot water to espresso): There are two loyalty cards: a 100kr «klipkort»(clip card) for 6 of any of the fancier drinks, and a 40kr one good for 10 regular coffee or tea. The bad? Volunteers are students. Life happens. Analog isn’t open constantly like a regular café. The show doesn’t go on, especially during finals week — the café is practically closed. However, volunteers will keep an eye on the supply of black coffee available. As a former volunteer, I’m happy I worked here. The drinks are great, the people even better. It was a great opportunity to meet non-inebriated Danes. I’ll miss working for you, Analog.
